Well, I've pretty much fucked up in every way imaginable. Turns out I'm failing a class, with about a 10% chance of bringing it up t a passing grade. So now I've got about three options.
1: Talk to the professor and see what I can do to bring the grade up.
2: Drop the class, end up being out ~$200, but I don't get a failing mark on my transcript.
3: Fail the class, out ~$200, and a big .5 on my transcripts.
I'm gonna e-mail my professor tonight, see what I can do about option 1, but it's looking like option 2 is the best course of action. My parents are going to blow a fucking gasket.
Why is life such a bitch all the time?
Really feel like I need to talk to somebody. Should probably go see a counseler or something, but definitely need somebody to talk to.

I'm very sorry to hear about this. I hope it works out fine. I kind of know how you feel, I've been in a similar situation.
I may not be a counselor, but if you want to talk, I could try to help.

So a while ago, I wasn't sure whether I was more likely to throw up or break down crying. It was not a good feeling. Oddly enough, now that I've e-mailed my professor, I feel a great deal better. Hmmm. . .
Guess I just wait to see if she responds. Probably won't be until tomorrow, so yeah. Gonna be hard to go to sleep tonight.

Just some pressure and stress off your shoulder. Because you've tried.
You know, talking could still be comforting, if you're worried about spending the night sleepless.

Nah, I'll be all right. Just have to find something to take my mind off of it.
Also, seriously hoping she responds with something along the lines of "yes, it's still possible to pass, but you will have to work your ass off for the next two weeks". Because I can do that. I just hope that I get a response before the final drop date of the class (12/3, next Monday).

Life's a bitch, and then you die. Nihilistic, maybe, but it's true in a lot of cases.
I have to tell my parents today. How am I gonna do this? Bad enough that I already feel like a complete fuckup.

Okay, I've been granted a sort of reprieve, for a few days. I don't need parental permission to drop a class, so I took care of that today. I still have to tell them in the next few days, but it's not so panic-inducing of a thought, now.
By the way, I would have told them already, but neither of them were home much yesterday, so I didn't really get a chance. And then today, I found out I didn't need their approval, so yeah.

11/26/07, 2:25 PM Guys. GUYS. I think I might be in trouble. I was in my local Best Buy earlier, and I saw World of Warcraft sitting on the shelves, and I was about an inch away from buying it. Managed to dodge the bullet on that one, but I still walked out the door with the Warcraft III Battle Chest. I'm becoming a Blizzard addict, no joke. I'M GOING DOWN A DANGEROUS ROAD, YOU GUYS. I need somebody to pull me off of it, quick. Or, alternatively, push me further down the road. I CAN'T BE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE LIKE THIS, MAN. In other news, it's snowing like crazy. Boy, was that a bitch to drive home in. *smiles devilishly* I kid. At any rate, you're better off not buying it, if you do buy it, until your situation gets resolved. WoW is great fun, but it's no solution to any problems.

Warcraft III's extremely fun. You won't regret it.
I just decided to get WoW for storyline purposes. I'm slowly growing addicted to it though. >.<

Yeah, I know. I'm still going to tell them soon, but it's not such a panic-inducing task any more. No matter what, it's already been done, and that's all there is to it.

If it's not so much panic-inducing, then that's really good. You shouldn't have much problems facing them, then. Good luck anyways.

English. Writing Experience, to be more specific. Basically, essays all semester long.

Well, this sucks. Fell asleep early last night, woke up at about 3:00, and haven't been able to get back to sleep since. Hate early mornings like that, 'cause it throws off my whole day.

No, not as yet. It's taking a certain amount of psyching up to get to it, and just when I'm at that point, something new will crop up at Dad's job, or Mom will be sick, and then I'm like "well, hell, telling them now wouldn't help any of us", and then I gotta psyche myself up for it again. It's not affecting my nerves at all since I dropped the class, though, so I'm not losing sleep or getting sick over it, so that's at least not an issue. Now it's all about finding the perfect time, when we're all less stressed out and they're less likely to explode.
I'm giving myself until this Friday. There's a good opening right before the weekend, and I think if I tell them then, it'll go over better all around. If I don't tell them by then, you all have permission to verbally abuse me until I stop being such a wuss and finally man up to it. Give me up until then to take care of things.

After the last couple paragraphs, it sorta feels "meh" to type this out, but hey, I'm damn happy and I gotta tell somebody about it.
So, you ever have one of those "fuck yes" moments in a game? The kind where you actually feel like you accomplished something? As for me, I had one of those moments just last night. FFX, chocobo catcher minigame. Tried, and failed, and tried, and failed, and no matter what I did I just couldn't get a higher score than 0:3.0. Until that one perfect run. Nailed a grand total of 15(!) balloons before the end, didn't hit a single bird, and ended up crossing the finish at 0:34.4, for an overall score of -0:10.6. After two hours worth of playing, I finally got that damned Sun Sigil.
Fuck. Yes.

Congrats on the game. And for your own sake, I'll do my best in not holding back the aggressive verbal insults come Saturday. Anything for a friend

Remember, that's only if I wimp out and don't tell them by Friday. If I do tell them, I'll see what I can do about letting you all know. Chances are good that I'll be banninated from the internet for a while, but they can't completely limit me, especially since I still have a few days worth of computer classes left.

We're aware of that. I've an idea. If you don't tell them, you come on on saturday. If you DO tell them, you won't be coming on on saturday. We'll know then that you would have told them

Alright I'm sure it won't come to that, but I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say, if it does, we'll show you no mercy. How many days left, exactly? When should we expect to see you last? >_>;;

No idea, honestly. I've been basing most of my worries and thoughts off of past experiences, but I'm an "adult" now. Yeah, I still live under their roof and all, but it's possible that the only thing that'll happen is that they'll have me pay them back for the class. We've sort of had a "sink or swim on your own" agreement for the last few months, so it's difficult to say what the outcome will be, at this point.

The other night, I went into an Alterac Valley battle, and we won by killing Vanndar Stormpike, the Alliance general, which is a very rare occurence since the reinforcement-type battle that Alterac Valley has now. The battle before, the Horde side summoned Lok'lohar the Ice Lord at 300 reinforcements each, which is also very, very rare.

I think the more important thing now isn't the outcome, but the fact that they should know.

So, yeah. Told them yesterday after school. Things got kind of ugly, hence my absence last night. That being said, it wasn't nearly as bad as it has been in years past. They were definitely happier that I'd told them instead of letting them find out on their own, and I think the fact that I took care of withdrawing from the class instead of waiting to fail it helped as well. So anyway, I'll be gone for a few days, anywhere from three days to two weeks. But hey, it's taken care of, and that's all I care about right now.
Take care, y'all. I'll hop on every once in a while at night, if I can hack it.
