Well yeah, but... Tales of Symphonia was a fun game and all, but it doesn't even compare to Skies of Arcadia in my mind. SoA is, to me, the definitive RPG experience. Yeah, it's cliched, but when the cliches are pulled off so well, is it really such a bad thing?
And I'd heard about the ToS sequel. Knight of Ratatosk, or something, right? One of my offline friends is a total Japanophile, and he knew about it almost before it was announced. Supposedly, Lloyd's gonna be a guest character in Soulcalibur Legends for the Wii, as well.

Bought GHIII earlier today. Have currently made it to the second-to-last tier (group of songs) on Expert. I have but a few things to say.
"Knights of Cydonia" can kindly go fuck itself. "3's & 7's" is more than welcome to join it.
That is all.

Are there any good songs? I'm interested in the game myself, even though I'll likely suck at it. Even though i'm not bad at actually playing a guitar.

There's a surprising number of good ones, actually, at least by my standards. "Rock and Roll All Nite", "Paint It, Black", "Barracuda", "School's Out", Metallica's "One", and "Through the Fire and Flames", just to name a few. Here's a full songlist, if you want to look it over. Just be aware that GHIII is a great deal harder than the last games have been. In other news, the Ozzy-soundalike that Activision has for their Black Sabbath cover is leaps and bounds better than the one Harmonix had.

I would have laughed my ass off if they snuck another Dethklok song in there like they did with GHII.

Nope, not this time. Tenacious D managed to land a spot, though. Should've been "Tribute", but hey, whatever.

Jesus christ, how is it even possible to play Through the Fire and Flames? You gotta have some kind of superhuman finger speed or something...

Most people that I know of that can actually play the intro have to use both hands on the frets and tap the solo.

Holy shit, tier 8 is hard. I've only beaten the Cliffs of Dover, and that was just pure luck. "Raining Blood" is going to be unbeatable.
EDIT: Totall just FCed "My Name is Jonas". Holy shit.

Whoever decided that it'd be a good idea to put a song with a forty second long noise solo into tier 8 needs to be punched in the face. especially considering the OMG HARD difficulty of the rest of the song. My fingers are, indeed, "Raining Blood".

You've beaten it now, though.

None of the Guitar Hero games feature my favorite song. That makes me kinda disappointed.

Doesn't really surprise me, considering the sheer number of songs that could be in the game.

Man. Finding a TF2 server to join is kinda intimidating.

Because there's a ton of 'em for one thing, and I have no idea of WTF the titles mean.

So very, very tired of being sick. I can't even begin to express how annoying it is.
Would post more, but my head is spinning too much to even focus on the screen. Gonna take some meds and go back to bed.
Fuck life today.

16 hours later, and I'm finally feeling better. And since I slept so late, I'm not at all tired. joy. Getting to sleep is going to be absolute hell. Maybe I'll flip on Transformers or something, get some noise going to distract me from how un-tired I am.
>_> Shut up. It makes sense in my head.

Glad to hear you're better. So, from what I understand, you want some noise to distract you from how un-tired you are.. I get what you're going to do, but I don't get why you're going to do it Is it so you'd maybe get tired again and go to sleep or is it because the thought of being not tired at such an hour bothers you?

The former. I need to get some sleep before I wake up in five hours, and sometimes it's easier to sleep when I'm not busy thinking about how not-tired I am. Noises and the like sometimes help with that.

Ah, yes. Yeah, noises do help. I usually listen to music, and almost everytime, even if I wouldn't be tired, I'd fall asleep.

I just read through their "review" of The Matrix.
Sweet lordy Jesus.
*Headdesk*
Also, Straight quote:
"We DO NOT assume to know, e.g., when it is acceptable (if ever) for your kids to be exposed to certain traditionally unacceptable programming. It is up to YOU -- the PARENT -- to decide whether it is acceptable for your child(ren) to be exposed to such programming, not us nor the Motion Picture Association of America."
Translation: "We're not gonna come right out and SAY that you're a bad parent for letting your kids watch these movies, but we're sure as hell gonna guilt you about it."
Pretentious assholes.

Use of God's/Jesus's name in vain! OFFENCE TO GOD RIGHT THERE! Translation: "We're not gonna come right out and SAY that you're a bad parent for letting your kids watch these movies, but we're sure as hell gonna guilt you about it." Which, to me, means the same thing. They're just doing it indirectly instead of bluntly saying it.

Yeah, I'd score a 0 on both their "I" and "O" ratings. And you know what? I'd be proud of it, because it'd piss them right off. Dammit, who the hell are you to police what I want to watch?
Swear to God, they'd have the entire entertainment industry under their squeaky clean thumb if they had even the slightest shot at it. People like that piss me off.

I'd score a zero on... oh, EVERYTHING! Cause there's something they may be missing. If a movie is rated R, chances are, it's not for children! OMG THE COINCIDENCE! And for adolescents and adults? I think they're old enough to think for themselves and understand what's happening and what's good to do and not. And if they can't, then they're probably stupid.
And honestly, people like that make me laugh, cause they just can't do anything to stop the media or the entertainment industries from doing these movies/shows/cartoons. They'll just keep whining on and on and on and no one would be listening to them. No one who has better things to do, at least.
