Date and time: Fuck the date and time.
Fuck this BULLSHIT. I JUST got my computer hardware repaired, and not two weeks afterward, wouldn't you know it?
Malware.
At this point, it only seems to be affecting IE; Firefox is still clean. But fuck it, I'm not taking any chances. I'm downloading just about every fucking spyware scanner and anti-virus I can find, and if that doesn't fix it, I'm taking it back in. Fuck this.
Fucking trojan's GOING DOWN.
EDIT: Security nuts can ignore my hyperbole; I'm only DL-ing the ones I know I can trust.
EDIT 2: Electric Boogaloo: Okay, so.
Good: I found out what trojan I was infected with.
Bad: It's a common problem, and there's no 100% guaranteed solution.
Good: there were lots of how-to's on the internet about getting rid of it.
Bad: Most of them involved manually clearing the trojan from your PC, something I'm wary of, at best.
Good: Some had automatic fixes.
Bad: I didn't have the right resources to use most of them.
Good: Windows' Malware remover tool supposedly takes care of this one!
Bad: . . . Microsoft is a lying sack of shit.
Good: "No. There is another."
Bad: Good luck finding which ones are supposed to work, and then finding a download that will work.
Good: FileHippo has one of them that will work!
Bad: . . . why won't it download!? . . . Oh, that's why.
Good: Yay! Downloaded!
Bad: Gawd, I have too many files to scan.
Good: All done scanning!
Bad: Forced restart. Restarting with this machine = iffy.
Good: Restarted well! Yayz!
Bad: TOO MUCH BULLSHIT ON STARTUP AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Good: Trojan eliminated!
Bad/Good: I will never use IE again if I can help it.
And to think, all of this started because I couldn't get the page to load right in Firefox.
