4/27/08, 5:18 AM Jesus Christ life you need to slow the fuck down and give me time to actually DO something. This whole "no free time except on weekends" thing is wearing me out. So it's been awhile since I wrote anything fannish and spazzy and fanspazzy here, and I'm not really gonna start again now. Well, okay, fannish I'll do, but not spazzy, but I'm rambling so I'll get to my point here. Anyway! Avatar episodes 14 and 15 have been leaked online, and I (like a good fanboy/bad law-breaking citizen) went out and downloaded them. And they. Are. Awesome. I won't spoil anything here, but I will say this; If "Day of Black Sun" was a 9 on the 0-10 awesome-scale, the newest episodes are about. . . 11. For those of you that watch the show and are willing, I suggest finding it online ASAP. And I don't normally promote pirating. Speaking of Avatar, the next DVD, chapters 11-15, is out on May 6th, last I knew. Nickelodeon, however, won't be airing chapter 12 until - get this - July 14th. Now, maybe I'm missing something here, but doesn't it seem. . . I don't know, pants-on-head retarded to air a TV episode after the DVD has already been released? Great way to shoot your ratings in the foot, I'd say. Considering that Nick is pretty much all about the ratings, we can only assume that this is a serious case of being screwed by the network. Pity. At least the show's getting a finale, though, unlike so many other shows that got Screwed (ReBoot comes to mind). Oh, and the shippers are in a frothing rage over the latest trailer. But then, shippers get into frothing rages over the most minute of character interactions, so what else is new? Wrapping things up here, Dwarf Fortress is the coolest, most complex game that you will never be able to learn how to play. I have lost no fewer than four fortresses, after only a few weeks of playing. And it's AWESOME. Kev out.

About Dwarf Fortress, that game looks so damn complicated my attention span won't last that long. Sucks about Nickelodeon doing something like that, It's also kind of funny. I remember watching ReBoot when I was little, I don't remember the show ending. Something about one guy Bob turning into the villain and running away was the last episode I remember seeing.

Every network has ratings. It's how they know which shows to keep and which shows to drop. Why else do you think Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents have lasted so long? Their ratings are high, so they keep them on as long as they can.

Boiling rock was pretty awesome.
Although in my opinion day of black sun still kicks its ass. I like the large armies fighting against each other type of thing. It's pretty epic when that happens.

Yeah, that stuff is epic, but it's not always my thing. I see it once, I get bored with it. I've seen TBR about. . . five times now, and it still holds my interest. Maybe it's the fact that so many parts are completely lolarious. Maybe it's that there were so many crowning moments. Or maybe I just liked seeing a couple of my favorite characters finally show up for the first/second time this season. Iunno, I just like it better.

TBR does have some funny jokes.
I forgot them already though. Remind me. =P Oh, I do remember the lame leaf me alone joke. I still laughed though. XD

Well, for starters. . .
Sokka: Okay, fine. You caught me. I'm going to rescue my dad, you happy now? Zuko: I'm never happy.
Then there's:
Sokka: My first girlfriend turned into the moon. Zuko: *pause* That's rough, buddy.
And then, of course:
Prisoner-guy-whose-name-I-forget: *picks up dude, holds him over his head* Hey! RIOT! Everyone else: *starts beating the shit out of each other*
I less-than-three this episode. For srs.

Dammit, I'm gonna have to take a hiatus from the internets, just so I can avoid spoilers.
This is lame.

I don't think Avatar is considered an anime. Though I do agree that Kev's a freak.

I just enjoy old animes, and anime games other then that I really don't care for this "Naruto" fad. Or "Avatar"

Wow. That's lame.
Not sure if Avatar is considered anime. It does have a bit of anime styles though. And even though it's a kid's show, it's surprisingly good.

On this one anime portal (anime6.org), I watched mostly the entire series of Avatar and only Naruto Shippuden was more watched.
Avatar is BIG.

>_> You're really going to take a hiatus? For two months? Well, no, probably not. That was more of a RAAAAAAAGE against Nick's complete fail. I have occasionally considered it, though. Yes. Your point? And no, if you ask an elitist whether Avatar is anime or not, you'll get a resounding "no". It's close enough that it doesn't really matter, though. Just download the book or something. It's not the fact that I can't get the book that's bothering me. No, getting the book would be no problem at all. It's the fact that Nick fails hard enough to even let the book get out in the first place, before the show is actually over. Also, there is no way I'm ruining the ending for this show for myself. I've been watching for the last three years, I'm not about to let some kids' book screw up the grand finale for me. Especially since the book was written for the 8-12 age range, and so is not of very high quality. Wow. That's lame. Not sure if Avatar is considered anime. It does have a bit of anime styles though. And even though it's a kid's show, it's surprisingly good. I'd say it's better than most anime, quite honestly. It doesn't get bogged down with too much talky-talky, but it doesn't sacrifice exposition for action, either. And speaking of exposition, it tells a damn good story, without having to resort to gratuitous violence or cursing or other "mature" themes. Add in some genuinely funny moments and some of the best animation I've seen in a show, and you've got yourself a winner.

At least it isn't completely freaking wierd like the Haruhi Suzumiya anime...

What anime do you like Garos? I know you like Mahou Sensei or whatever.

Negima I liked because it's basically a meeting of two failures (Love Hina meets Harry Potter) and I found it to be kind of funny.
I enjoy Bleach, Ghost in the Shell, Slayers, Case Closed, Baki the Grappler, and Naruto when it isn't all boring.
