Before Eric had a chance to fight back against Juni, Drake had smacked him hard with the blunt end of his halberd, knocking him out once and for all, and allowing Juni to let go of him instead of struggling. However, even with their leader not to be seen, the soliders were going to prove to be persistent in trying to defeat the group and bring Drake back so that they could be rewarded for being the ones to find and capture him, along with his gang of mercenaries.
"Juni... thank you," Drake mumbled, blushing so much that his skin matched with the blood dripping down his cheek. "You seem weary, maybe you should sit the rest of the battle out."

Gentt thanked Melody for her earlier save by throwing a dagger into the back of a man closing in on her. He figured that would give her a few more seconds of peace to find Drake and Juni. Gentt thought of finding them to regroup but they seemed to far away. He repositioned his scythe, and taunted two guards over. Their armor slowed them down a great deal and he used this to his advantage. Crouching low to the ground he rushed the first one, swinging behind him and decapitated him. He knew Drake said not to kill anyone but it IS war and he IS a thief. The second guard met his death in a similar manner except his head stayed attached. The numbers were against them still, but Gentt didn't see the commander.
This made him losing up a bit more, increasing his scythe's size. "Come on you cowards thats all you got!" he taunted, while fingering a small smoke ball. Ready for release the second he got a good group around him.

Juni shook off her weakness and gently clutched Drake's sleeve. She pulled him close, leaning in to whisper in his ear. "We need to regroup. Announce our retreat to the battlefield. As long as we're running, they won't be able to keep up. We're not as heavily weighed down as they are..."
Upon finishing her sentence, Juni collapsed face-down.

Luka had never been in favor of killing needlessly. He himself was one to think heavily on consequences, not unlike the kindhearted Prince Drake. For the majority of the battle he had been dodging blows, using his wind magic to knock foes out by pummeling the backs of their necks, and parrying as many thrusts as possible, giving counter blows with due skill, just enough to disable them.
He stopped and looked around, finding himself to be at peace for one moment, and noticed he was alone. However through two advancing soldiers he spotted the flirtatious man and the novice-like blond girl from before.
Luka managed to adapt the wind between the two enemies to part them, baffling them momentarily as he came through and in a flash, used his elbows to send them into unconsciousness. He sped over to his two allies and used wind to force an advancing foe down to the earth, kicking the back of his unarmored neck to knock him out.
He apathetically stood in front of the still body, sword drawn and nodding once to the two of them. He was never one for words.

Actual News?! Hi guys, actual news this time! If I haven't already bugged you about it, allow me to bug you now! I'm making a game. It's a short RPG Maker game, and the plot will be modeled after the (intended) plot of this RP, featuring the characters you originally put into this! (As well as some other characters who have been added because you're cool.) Whoo! Sounds fun, right? Wouldn't it be WAY extra fun to have the lines you write in the ACTUAL GAME?!

But seriously.
I didn't want to flippantly bring up this "Oh lets make a game" thing and then never do it, because I do that a lot. Keeping that in mind, I've worked as best as I could with a very very thorough plan, and in terms of progress, the game is almost at the point where we need to start writing.
This won't be as much of a technical RP where we describe what the area is like, and what we're doing in the surroundings. I am a total n00b with any kind of technical coding or programming, so the mechanics of the game will have to be fairly simple. What needs writing is a shitload of dialogue, which you would provide if you do decide to help me write it. The intended appeal of this game is a multi-dimensional story including characters with real personalities who exist fully in the world we write them in.
So, yeah... I don't really know what else to say right now. If you're reading this and you're interested, spread the word, post any questions, tell me if you're in or out. More news to come, screenshots likely to follow. -ST

Appearance: Hair is dark blond, straight, shaggy, usually kept several inches long. Face is kept well-shaven. Eyes are hazel-green and bright. Skin tone is light brown. He is usually outfitted in a well-worn, dark blue traveler's cloak. He is short and thin, but athletic. He appears young, and it is easy to detect the vibrancy beneath his calming energy.
Personality: He is confident and finds it easy to make connections with others, but will withdraw to be alone when tired. Is content with small groups of people rather than crowds. Keeps few friends and prefers to be in the peripherals of people's attention. Sees the value in people. Can be inexpressive of his own thoughts and feelings. He doesn't spend much time daydreaming, but enjoys listening to a good story. Has a strong sense of integrity, meaning in particular that he will present himself unostentatiously, do what he promises, and expect others to do the same. Therefore he is dependable, but he is not necessarily proactive when it comes to accomplishing things, and could be described as unambitious. Magic: Manipulation of time -- Can slow or speed up the present moment. Time can be slowed to almost a pause, sped until 10 seconds becomes 1 second, or anything in between. Slowing time can be sustained for 30 seconds at most, while speeding time can be sustained for about 15 seconds. He can control whether it is he or another that experiences time at a different speed. He can make a group of people experience time at a different speed, but it becomes more difficult to sustain the more people he is affecting. He becomes quickly fatigued while using this magic. Manipulation of memory -- Can implant false memories, as long as they are realistic and/or the victim is vulnerable to them. Can erase or blur memories to an extent that depends on how significant the memories are to the victim and how long ago they formed; significant memories that formed a long time ago can barely be touched, while recent memories of seemingly inconsequential details can be completely wiped. Manipulation of perception -- Can create simple illusions in all the five senses, and can shield chosen details from being perceived. These details have to be insignificant to begin with in order to be entirely shielded. Somewhat larger details can be partially shielded. These illusions and shields only last as long as he is actively sustaining them. They are more difficult to sustain at a distance. He becomes fatigued while sustaining them, but not nearly as quickly as he does when manipulating time.
