I'm very bored right now. I have an aunt who decided to visit for the weekend, so she's with my parents while I sit in my room and listen to music and stuff. Also, the football/soccer games today weren't really that great.
I really should be replying to the tournament, but I'm uninspired at the moment. Also, why is it that only three of the eight fights have more than two replies? >_>
Specifically, four of them have one single replies, and one has zero. I have to ask, what if a fight is not replied to at all? Does the first person to reply (even after a week) win, or does another character take their place?

I wish the people behind the Resident Evil live-action movies would stop raping it to death. Why are the Majini, especially the Executioner Majini, in the United States?! Did they import them from Africa, because that's where they were in Resident Evil 5, and they were there for a reason. Also, they basically pick up scenes from Resident Evil 5 and put them in the film.
Also, they messed up on Claire Redfield. Alice shouldn't be there whatsoever. And, lastly, Wesker doesn't sound very Wesker-y.

Now Watching: The Blues Brothers
Well, the G20 summit that was in Toronto has gone to absolute shit. Over a billion dollars was spent between it and the G8 summit in Huntsville, and now there's a riot in Toronto. Over 500 people have been arrested, cop cars burned on the streets, and many businesses downtown suffered damage, with the Eaton Centre (one of the biggest malls in Toronto) going into a lock-down for the protection of the people.
It's hard to know where to point the finger. That billion dollars sure did a load of good, and I hope everyone realizes that's sarcasm. While only a few cases have been stated so far, police brutality reports are going to skyrocket. And of course, some dumbasses had to ruin a peaceful protest and turn it into a goddamn riot.
I guess it annoys me because people are going to be angry no matter what, and the news will probably cover it for weeks.

This is my third time watching the Blues Brothers. I love Dan Aykroyd in this movie.
This weekend was boring. This week will probably be even more so.
And, I have to say it, but dammit Hetalia. The FIFA world cup is about football/soccer, not about some stupid anime. The fanart I've seen because of it... cripes. I don't understand what's so great about an anime that stereotypes people from different countries.

I'm still in the IRU. I really want to be free of this floor and my wheelchair, because they both really suck. There's no one close to my age to talk to, and my neighbour across the hallway annoys me with her constant yelling, whining, and negative behaviour.

Do you race on your wheel chair? I used to, until I ran into a wall. Also, there tend to be a lot of people in the halls, and the other people in wheelchairs are SO slow.
August 17th, 3:21 PM Listening to: Radio/Video - System of a Down It's been over 40 days since I was first admitted into the hospital (the exact number is debatable depending on how you look at it; if you include the day of the accident or just when I entered my current hospital), and I'm finding I have gotten a lot better. I'm not as tired, and I feel happier. But, I've found I get annoyed with people who, on Facebook, post the most depressing status updates I have seen. Really, I don't think life is that bad. Things could always be worse. |

Alright, for those of you who don't know, I'm currently being visited daily by my aunt and uncle (dad's sister and asshole brother in law). They are the ones who were listed in the will as being my legal guardians. However, since I'm 19 (will was last updated when I was 7), I don't actually need to stay with them. In fact, my decision is to go back to my parents' home and live there until I go back to school next September, and at that point the house will be sold.
Do they like that? Fuck no.
They've been trying to make me feel guilty, they've been trying to suggest me staying at their place, and they've been sickly kind, yet rude at the same time. My uncle seems to have a hard-on for hating on women, and it's getting to the point where I'm glad I broke my right elbow, or else he would have gotten a right hook. He says shit like "never send a woman to do a man's job" and other bullshit.
And in the same breath, they want to be replacements for my parents. Sorry, but a submissive pain in the arse and a misogynistic pig will never replace my parents.

Also, I may potentially be out as early as two weeks from now. Fingers crossed.
