Pretty much the idea behind the old "Ask FS" board stolen adopted by Daryl. Ask, and Daryl shall answer!

Haha.
My question is "What do you suck?"

S-D: I don't suck, simple and true!
SD: I'm afraid I don't suck much at all.

S-D: I'm not.
KI: Why did FS make the old "Ask FS" boards? We don't really need a point to everything =/

It phailed when S-D and SD started asking questions =/
C'mon, more!

Post by Bitchy Grammar Queen on Nov 2, 2007 22:02:28 GMT -5
It phailed when S-D and SD started asking questions =/ And... We asked the first questions.

Post by shadowdeath on Nov 2, 2007 22:04:00 GMT -5
So technically if we didn't ask questions it would phail.
It's a win win situation. Either way this topic dies>

Daryl... why is the moon filled with craters!?
|
|
|
Post by Daryl on Nov 5, 2007 22:14:02 GMT -5
Because it gets hit with meteorites, and it also isn't geologically active, so the craters don't get filled in over time like they do here on Earth.

Golly Daryl! That's a real interesting fact!
Why did all the dinosaurs die out? And don't give me that meteor crap. If it was true, we'd have found the meteor.
|
|
|
Post by Daryl on Nov 6, 2007 12:54:35 GMT -5
A meteor.
And they did find the meteor. Or the crater, atleast. There's this huge crater somewhere, near Brazil I believe, and quite possibly in the ocean.

T_T
So... you're telling me that a single rock killed ALL the dinosaurs. Did the dinosaurs all meet up at the dinosaur convention in Brazil? No... so explain further!

The rock hit, and caused climate change and stuff. Upon hitting it killed everything within a certain large radius, as well as vaporizing a ton of rock and other stuff, which in turn went into the atmosphere to block out the sun by a certain percentage, killing off many plant species who couldn't adapt to the low light, and thus disrupting the food chain. Not to mention it would have caused alot of tsunamis, especially if it hit in the ocean, which I'm pretty sure it did. Air could have become toxic in certain large locations, and food supply would have been very low. Global temperature would have initially rose a very large percent, due to vaporized rock heating the atmosphere a lot, then dropped sharpely, due to the sun being blocked out. Most species don't do good in extreme temperatures.
Also, when a meteorite of that size hits the earth, it sends large pieces of debris into high orbit, which later rains down onto the Earth as flaming debris, which also kills lots.
