Wulfi needs to watch different anime. It's the same dark sadistic crap you get with Witch Hunter Robin, Paranoia agent, and the like.
Watch something more cheerful, for christ's sake.

Actually... Wulfi was pissed off about it being in English. She said something like... 'The English voices always ruin animes!' She was pretty right... it could have had better English voice actors... I didn't like Light's English voice... didn't suit my tastes.

Personally, I find the Japanese voices on anime to be too high pitched or whiny.

I never heard much Japanese Death Note speaking, but it was alright by me. Probably because I had no idea what they were saying. Seriously, if some huge-ass monster was in my room... I'd flip out. OMG WTH DAMN!

Okay just watched some on youtube.
I heard Ryuk and Light.
Personally I find Ryuk less creepy sounding in the english version. But then it might be cause I can't understand japanese.
As for Light I think it's a good voice actor. It sounds like a teenager. So it fits.
