Well people always request for muzak and stuff.
So I was wondering if everyone should pitch in to upload songs, then archive the links. This way anyone who wants something can just grab it from the list.
For obvious reasons if we do this the board we do it on should be hidden and password'd.
And we also need to figure out where to host it. We can do things like megaupload or whatever. I'm not really sure what's the best file hosting site.

Megaupload sucks more than Daryl. Rapidshare's not much better, but at least it's somewhat better. www.fileden.com seems to be a pretty decent site. You get 1 GB of storage and 5 GB of bandwidth each month. the maximum file size is 50 MB, which is more than enough for music files. Also, they allow you to directly link to files, which makes things a lot easier. And now, a random song I have uploaded- www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/15/1433596/Gilgamesh.mp3 |

It sounds good. At the moment we probably won't go past 1 GB of storage.
Also how fast are downloads?

Downloads seem to be fairly slow though, I'm getting about 30-50 kb/s, when I can usually get a couple hundred kb/s. It's not too bad if only a few files are being downloaded, but if you're going to download a lot from it, it could take a while.
