It's that time of year again! That's right, it's time to nominate things for "____ of the year"! "____ of the year" is a section of the ToM news ticker, seen at the top of the homepage, where various things are called out for being the best of their kind for the year. As we're now in a new year, it's time to once again nominate new things for a new year. Current categories include "Fact of the year" (Green is a color!), "Link of the year" ( Terraria!), and "Video of the year" ( Malk!), but nominations in any category will be considered. Simply make a reply to this thread stating which category you're nominating something for, and the something you're nominating for that category. You can optionally include a justification for each nomination. When multiple things are nominated for a single category, winners will be decided by a poll. Nominations are subject to ProBoards Terms of Service. |

Admin of the year: Daryl! No other admin has done more for ToM lately than Daryl has, and for that reason I think he deserves to be Admin of the year. |

The nominations start intentionally late to give you time to think about your answers before the nominations begin! Or something. It's a January 20th tradition. Also, nominations end roughly after the 25th. ToMer of the year: KM8! Who are they? Where did they come from? Forum skin of the year: Pirate! While Cheesecake is nice, it's a bit low-contrast, and the Pirate theme has always stood out as being the best. I might prefer Cheesecake if it still had its custom emoticons.

The only category with a conflict is best skin. The poll will be conducted in this post. Each person may cast one vote. Posts which are edited will have their votes discounted. Voting will end after three people have voted, or on February 1st, whichever happens first. The choices are the Cheesecake skin, and the Pirate skin.
I vote for the pirate skin.
