Insomnia's hit me like a damn truck.
I knew this was going to happen. My dreams have been really screwed up of late...

A lot of...wierd stuff. A laughing Madusa who seems to like pulling on her snake hair, a kid walking a little rolling blob of slime mold, to a little chibized Misty from Pokemon randomly popping up and yelling "WEAK LOVE!", to (Like the dream I had the other day) a grunge band randomly being replaced by random fictional characters, from Pokemon to Scooby Doo.
Happens every single fucking year at this time, and always starts around the 16th-17th, which is the same time of year my dad died. Lasts for about two weeks, then goes away.
But it's torture when it happens.

Quite the odd dreams you're seeing... Maybe it's related to your father's death. I mean, it could be some repressed feelings/memories/thoughts that resurface as dreams. I don't know, I'm probably talking nonesense now.
But I could say I understand how you're feeling. Last year, around september, I began having disturbing nightmares, and it went on until summer this year. In fact, whenever I dreamt (or remember having dreamt), it was a nightmare. Rarely did I ever see a good dream (or a normal one). And it was almost every three nights a week at the minimum. I'd wake up either scared, angry, sad, or a mix of everything, and the nightmares would deal with fear, death, despair, things like that. I don't usually remember the dream, but I'd remember the feelings I had while seeing it, and the overall theme. I thought I was going to go insane, if I'm not already.
But when summer came, it suddenly stopped. Now it's restarting, sort of. I had a couple last week. I'm really hoping it'd stop, but... I don't know.

Supposedly if you don't get enough sleep for awhile, and then you get a good night's rest, you will dream more.
Dunno if this applies to you.

They aren't nightmares. They're just wierd as hell, made the more concentrated by the fact that I was friggen exhausted yesterday. I haven't had a real nightmare since my Legend of Zelda: OOT obsession the summer after it came out, when I had that really fucked up nightmare about Ganondorf and peahats.
Unless you count falling dreams as nightmares, which I really don't.
Anyways, it leaves me an insomniac for about a week.
On the bright side, I just discovered that Generation 4 of Pokemon has a parody of the Playboy bunny.
I'm serious.

Mine are nightmares, though. And no, I don't count falling as a nightmare, especially not compared to what I usually see.
lol XD
