Okay, fine, here's your statement. Eddie (pyroflasher) and I went on Tumblr/Facebook and asked everyone we knew to vote anyone other than Michael. This should be clearly stated in future competitions. Furthermore, new registrants should be locked for the duration of the contests to prevent vote rigging, neutral or otherwise.

I'm actually theorizing a way to redesign the competition to be strictly about the stories, and less about the people. I'd receive all the stories, and post them all from one account so nobody knows who wrote which story. Mulling through the details right now, but hopefully things work out. |
