I have confidence that no one has even been able to read my story yet. I would also like to know why Matt's story was disregarded.

Does that matter? Let us take a look at the rules that you posted. Rules: 1) Writers need to post their chapters by the deadlines. Consequences come from tardiness. Most consequences are elimination, but there have been moments I've been merciful. 2) No pre-written stories. These are original pieces that help build writing skills. 3) Avoid writing chapters in advance. That's what the themes are for. 4) Don't steal your damn story. It's just plain stupid. 5) No posting links, images, or videos as your story. It adds an unfair flair to your story. Or it's just gross. 6) Your story MUST relate to the theme chosen randomly per round. 7) There's a 1 sentence minimum to declare your chapter acceptable. 8) This is mostly just a suggestion, but don't make your story too long. Hard work is appreciated, but a long story feels like homework. [/Rules] Matt obeyed all of these rules; I do not see anything in here mentioning that you need to be a member of this forum in order to participate, nor do I see anything mentioning removal from the contest if you no longer have membership. YOU ARE OFFICIALLY ENTERED WHEN YOUR FIRST CHAPTER IS POSTED. You must create a new thread and title it the name of your story. All your story entries will go there. Ah, what's this? You are "OFFICIALLY ENTERED" when your first chapter is posted? Matt's first chapter was posted, so he must be officially entered, otherwise you have lied to us, or not made this a fair contest by withholding rules from us and/or not following them. I see no reason why he should be removed from the competition when he did not break any of the rules, which, you came up with and posted. I demand, for all that is fair and just in this world, that you lock this poll, and recreate the first round poll for this writing contest.
