The tournament floor was empty, but the crowd was filled with excited patrons hoping to see a bloody battle between two great fighters. There were two doors on opposite sides of the arena. One for each fighter to step though. The announcer wasted no time in yelling from the side lines, "Without further delay, let's begin this fight!"
All that there was to wait on was the entrances of the two opponents from opposite sides.

Amon had no idea who he was challenging for round two, and after his somewhat embarrassing win in round one, he was hoping it was no one who owned some sort of long range weapon. He was still somewhat sore, especially in regards to his feet, but he was not going to let someone take advantage of him like he had before. While he had no plans to kill his opponent, he was sure to let them know that he would be continuing on.
Not knowing still who he was fighting, he went into the arena and pulled out his whip, waiting for a foe to appear.

Kyo's first fight ended abruptly, without much injuries, and he was quite thankful for that. He hoped, however, that this fight would go to the end. He wondered who he was going to face, but that, he was going to find out soon, as the fighters were called out.
The gun was in place, so were the bullets. With that, he pushed the doors open and got in. From afar, he couldn't make out who it was, yet he had a feeling he knew who it was...
And as he got closer, a knot formed in his stomach and grew bigger with each step, while a surprised expression appeared on his face, soon to be turned to shock. Even though he wasn't close enough to see the face, he easily recognized the clothes, and the long green hair...
And as he got closer, he recognized the purple eyes and the mark on the cheek. Kyo stopped walking, his deep blue eyes staring into Amon's purple ones.
"No, God, please, this has got to be some kind of bad joke...", he muttered, still not believing who he was seeing.

Amon was stunned when he saw his opponent. He had no idea that Kyo had even entered this tournament or, even if he had known, realized that he would be his foe in the second round. Amon felt sick about it. He wasn't sure if he could go through with this battle. he was fine with killing or harming people, but Kyo was different... he was special.
"So, I didn't know you were going to be here," Amon admitted, his deep purple eyes adverting Kyo's. "I also didn't know you were going to be my foe. Do you even want to fight now? Or is one of us going to give up?"
It was strange. Usually Amon was quite bold when speaking, but now he was very shy and soft-spoken.

"I... didn't know you were going to be here, either", Kyo responded, his brilliant blue eyes still gazing at Amon, "And even if I did, I'd have hoped not to end up against you..."
He wasn't feeling well, at all. Of all the possible scenarios, this was the least he expected.
"I don't know", he finally sighed out, "I... don't have the will to fight you."
He was completely defenseless, which was... quite unlike him.

"I know it's a bit weird, but why don't we do it?" Amon suggested calmly, taking a deep breath to stop his stomach from forcing out his lunch. "I mean, we're here, the crowd is waiting for a battle, and we have our weapons out already. It'll be like a spar, except just a tad more... intense. Giving up would be a disappointment."
Amon was feeling more confident now. "Besides, Kyo, I think you might be the only person able to beat me. Dare to try?"

Kyo sighed. His heart was beating fast, and he felt really unwell. Nevertheless, he gave Amon's suggestion a thought. It sounded crazy to him at first, but... Amon had reason, if only a bit. Besides, they both entered this tournament, knowing they were going to take risks; this was no different. He couldn't just turn around and leave...
Kyo let out a nervous chuckle at Amon's last comment. "I'm not sure I'm able to beat you", he replied to him, "But... I'll take you up on it. But before that..."
He stepped closer and closer to his opponent. When he was just inches away from him, he leaned in and kissed him tenderly. No, Kyo wasn't afraid to show who his lover was, nor express his love openly.
He then pulled back and took a few steps backwards. "This is to say sorry in advance, if I hurt you."

Amon backed away a few steps after Kyo kissed him, blushing quite a bit. It wasn't so much that he was embarrassed about being kissed in public. No, he was just stunned by the abruptness of it all, at least until he remembered who he was dealing with. Kyo wasn't the type of person to hide his feelings or give you a warning before he did something.
Which was why Amon liked him so much.
"The key word in that sentence is if," Amon chuckled, stepping back a bit as he made sure there was some distance between them in case Kyo decided to shoot. It was the Cursed Fairy, a gun Amon had given him. Was he going to regret it by the end of the night? Physically, yes, but mentally, never. He gave Kyo a small bow, allowing him the first move.

Kyo smirked at what Amon said. He pulled out his gun, a gift given to him by the very person he now faced. He felt uneasy using the weapon against the person he loved most. But, he couldn't back down now. Deep inside, he felt shame. As a mercenary, he was trained to fight, no matter who he faced. And at this very moment, all these lessons seemed to serve nothing.
So, Kyo tried to push away the feelings, and concentrate on the battle only. Quickly, he pointed the gun at Amon, ready to shoot at him...
... And he remained still.
His hand was trembling. He couldn't bring himself to pull the trigger. Sure, the bullet wasn't going to hurt, as it was special, but the idea of shooting at Amon was just unfathomable to him.
I can't do it, I just can't... Dammit, if my teachers saw me like that, they'd never recognize me...

Amon noticed that Kyo was hesitating, and he couldn't help but smile a bit. He appreciated the fact that Kyo couldn't shoot at him, because it meant that he truly cared for Amon, and wasn't just faking it or something. However, at the same time, they were supposed to be fighting now, and if Amon had to prompt an action, he would. He was even a bit nervous to be cracking his whip at him, but then he had an idea.
"Kyo, what are you going to do!?"
After that yell to get his attention, Amon bolted forward as quickly as his legs could possibly take him. He didn't mean to yell in a mean way, but he wanted Kyo to see this. When, or if, he could get close enough to do so, Amon would stop and spin on one foot, aiming a kick right into his chest.

When Amon yelled, and broke into a run, it was as though it triggered a reflex in Kyo. For a moment, he stopped thinking, and, gun pointed at Amon, he immediately shot a bullet. But, it wasn't any bullet.
[Poison Ivy: a shot of this “glues” the enemy down.]
If it hit, Amon should be slowed down considerably, for a moment. And that would be a big help; after all, Amon was very fast. Kyo would deal with the feelings of guilt for shooting later. For now, he had to fight.

Amon definitely was not expecting Kyo to shoot, so before he knew it, his feet were glued to the ground, making sure that the kick he had been planning would not be happening for a while. Seeing as he was stuck in one spot for a while, Amon got his whip ready, and cracked it at Kyo's face. Hitting him would be painful, and not hitting him could pose as a distraction.
I do not remember these types of bullets... note to self, ask him how he got them later.

Though Amon was slowed down, he still had a long reach with his whip, and Kyo should have realized this sooner. He tried to jump back, but the whip still touched him near the cheek. It was a quick snap, and the pain wasn't felt immediately. However, when the pain came around, it was pretty intense, and there was at its place a deep red mark. It would probably be a while before it disappears.
But Kyo had to act fast. He still didn't intend on hurting Amon, but he had to distract him as much as possible if he wanted to have the upper hand. He quickly turned the chamber of his bullet, and aimed at Amon.
BAM! A different bullet shot out, this one having a different effect.
[Sakpata's curse: makes the opponent very dizzy. It lasts longer, but is harder to "use".]
Kyo was propelled backwards, but managed to not fall. He wasn't sure if he was able to aim well, but hoped it was the case...

As Kyo fired the second bullet at him, Amon went to move backwards, trying to avoid it with his feet stuck in face, but as he did so, the first spell broke, causing Amon to fall over onto his back, avoiding the literal bullet. He got up rather calmly, a smile still on his face as he dusted his pants off and made sure that his whip was untangled.
"I'm starting to think that I should have just got you a normal gun," Amon chuckled, merely joking around. "You're too good with this one."

And suddenly, mid-fight, a hawk scooped Kyo out of the arena, relocating him to a large nest filled with other confused humans.
Fight over. Amon wins.
