do I need to have a program already downloaded to play this? You shouldn't. You just need to download it, save to documents or something, and then go to where you saved it, and click it. It should have you extract the files. After that, you can play it.

Are you making any progress?

I am progressing, but in addition to The Tron, I managed to snag a few decent scripts (that I had to fuck around with). So while I continue with Dyke O Tron, I'm going to be using the same maps from there to work on a ToM-Style Adventure game, with a non-traditional 6 CHARACTER PARTY! After I finish all my Tron Mapping, I'll enlist all of you into making the plot of the ToM game.
As for events... no, I haven't made many more events. (and by events, I mean like... warps, doors, people, etc...)

Okay. Continuing my diligent work on the Tron, I decided to do a timed run-through.
Under the assumption that the direction of the first arc of the game is clear enough that the player playing the game can generally get from place to place without excessive confusion, and under the assumption that NONE of the random battles are skipped, the total playtime THUS FAR...
Total Play Time: 47 Minutes, 8 Seconds.
Personal Evaluation: The fact that it's 47 minutes long at JUST this point is a huge surprise. In addition, I checked up on my doors, shops, and NPCs. The doors all go to the right places (which is ALWAYS good), I have 1 minor Inn Error and 2 little "Errors" with shops. (I'd just rather swap some items in and out in some shops...) As for the NPCs: They're pretty hilarious. 60% of the NPCs are damned funny. The alcoholic nun, the old man celebrating 60 years together with his dead wife, the dwarf. And this is just one room.
Current gameplay edits necessary: Default main character 1 (aka Megan) is a healer. This RPG is going the non-traditional approach, despite the fact that it's a parody. Hilarious.
Anyways, back to my point: Megan is a healer, yet her combat magic spell is completely overpowered. She needs to be nerfed. And hard.
Music: The opening theme is the song "Your Affection" from Persona 4... And the battle music is "Reach Out To The Truth" also Persona 4.
Got a whole mess of towns that I'm gonna stuff with music... but that's the general sound.
If I knew how to make a video of this crap, I'd make a video of this crap.
Also, I doubt anyone will read this, which is fine, because it helps me get my thought into memory.
