We should prohibit posting a prime number of times consecutively, so that double and triple posting is forbidden, but quadruple posting is fine.

What's the grace period between posts?

There isn't one. Someone else has to post inbetween.

I don't really like that idea personally.

Well it's easy to shoot other people's ideas down, Cetasaurus. If you all can't agree on anything maybe we just won't have a rule about consecutive posting at all. Is that what you want?

What do you want, Daryl? We always do what Cetasaurus and Bitchy Grammar Queen want, but never what Daryl wants

If no one else has any opinions on this, then we should just go with the only actual suggestion. If no one posts saying that they disagree in the next three hours, we can safely assume that everyone agrees with me.

You deserve better than that, and I let my frustration over the lack of consensus get the better of me.

If no one posts saying that they disagree in the next three hours, we can safely assume that everyone agrees with me. I have concerns about how the suggestion allowing only non-prime numbers of consecutive posts would work in practice. For example, to perform an allowed quadruple post, you would necessarily have to perform a forbidden double and triple post first. I also have concerns that a rule like this would increase the moderation load on the forum from "none" to "some".

So, you can post a fourth post without being banned for triple posting as long as no one posts inbetween. Edit: A new prime number just came out today, so be careful not to post 2^136,279,841 - 1 times in a row.

Hey, the rule isn't official yet. If you wanna post that many times in a row, feel free.

If you weren't lazy, you might consider retroactively applying the rule.
