URGENT!! ABOUT GE!!

Hey everyone,

I hate to inform you all of this but GE won't be on for a long time. She got into a bad car accident the evening of July 2 and is in the hospital. Her and her parents were on their way home when they got into a head-on collision. She's going to be okay, but she was the only survivor in her vehicle. I know you will all understand. She will come back once the storm has passed.

Golden Emblem is so nice and she's the reason I'm at Tales of Mystery and she seems like a really amazing person and she answers all my questions and always makes me feel welcome and she's creative and generous and caring... well as far as I can tell so far, but I think I'm right because nothing about what she says or does or what other users say or do about her makes her seem otherwise... and this is a really long sentence, but for all you grammar nuts it's just because I do this weird stream-of-conscious thing when I'm freaking out. x.x

But the bottom line is: WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO HER?!

Hey everyone,

I'll be sure to pass on everyone's wishes. Laura is doing extremely well. She did suffer a broken leg, elbow and some ribs. She did go into surgery and has since been recovering beautifully. I'm leaving in the morning to go see her and i'll make sure to update everyone when I get back on Wednesday. Thank you everyone for all your support. It will mean so much to her. Thank you

Hey everyone,

I got back from the hospital late last night and she is doing FANTASTIC! She's in high spirits and she's recovering quickly. She has a rod in her left leg and a pink cast for her elbow. Her ribs are bruised, not broken which is what they has originally thought. Her spleen was ruptured, but doctors say it's going to heal on it's own so they don't even have to remove it. She thanks everyone for their support.

Just knowing she has all this support means tons to her. Thank you everyone and I'll continue to pass your wishes to her.

Hey everyone! I gots another update for you!! GE is now out of the ICU and in a normal hospital room! She had all her chest tubes removed and is now eating some solid foods! She got moved yesterday afternoon (i found out late last night once I was done work) Thanks again everyone for all your support

Hey everyone! Another update! Laura is doing fantastic! She's able to go outside and stand with the help of a pole. She has all the hospital tubes out now and is eating the food ppl sneak in for her! Her cast is now blue and not icky pink. She really appreciates everyone's support and thanks everyone deeply. She might even be released next week!

I completely forgot they always typed one-handed in Evangelion. Now I want to do it more.

Sometimes it can be hard, emotionally. I was conscious for the entire accident and up until my surgury early Saturday morning (the accident was at around 6:45PM), so with the exception of the impact (which I don't remember, thank God), I recall nearly everything. Some memories are hard to overcome. My parents died on impact, so I remember seeing them, and trying to wake them up. But knowing I've got the forum behind me helps so much.
