1. An instance RP is a RP that is not long enough to be considered a big role-play with sign-ups and such, yet has a plot and involves different characters interacting. It could mean that there are arguments, discussions over a cup of tea (or pitcher of beer, your fancy), or even characters meeting up and making friendships or rivalries. It’s open-ended, and helps with character development. Relationships made here can even carry on to other RPs.
2. Even though this board is not completely about fighting, godmodding is still not allowed. This covers a variety of things, such as over-powered spells and controlling characters other than your own.
3. If posting an RP, distinguish between public and private. If you see a private RP and you have not been invited to it, please refrain from posting in it.
4. If you start an RP in one setting, and decide to change the setting, conclude your first RP and start another in the second setting. For example, if Griffin and Kinda start an RP in the ocean setting, but want to go to the castle, they would stop the RP in the ocean setting, and start another in the castle setting. This rule does not include if you are only passing by a setting for a post or two.
5. If you want to make an RP in a certain place (such as, say, the Gutsy Grill and Bar) after a previous RP used the same place, post another thread listing it as being number II, III, and so on.
6. The general rules of the forum still apply, especially including rules about going off-topic.
7. Questions and requests are to go into their proper threads. Requests for boards should follow the criteria listed.
8. No self-insert characters (a self-insert character being a character that represents the poster, not having a distinct personality/appearance). Your characters should be well thought-out.
9. Your writing should match the mood of the RP, as the creator intends. If you decide to be too silly for a serious RP, or vise versa, you could be asked to leave or have your posts removed by an administrator.
