I'll edit this later. Just know that three new characters are on the way.
As most of you know, the majority of my old characters (Anthony, Raife, Luceilia, all those peoples) are dead from the war with the Rose Children (which occurred shortly before summer 2008). It had to be done. It was about time to clean out my inventory, as cruel as that sounds. Kaitai and Kaoniban were the only survivors.
Some of you may have noticed Owen and Koyoko joined the team around that time. About a year after the war, Kaoniban passed away. His body was breaking down ever since the war and he finally gave way.
Kaitai had only recently started to get over the death of his twin brother, actually going out and fighting again, when he started feeling the effects of the Entwined Soul, the energy-based bow that the red-furred neko twins, Arash and Tidas, endowed him with.
Both of their souls were absorbed into the weapon, and as tradition goes on, the current wielder will also, eventually, become one with the bow. The more he uses it (or the more effort he puts into using it), the less time he has on this earth.
Kaitai is currently bedridden from a large battle with the only known remaining cohorts of the defeated Rose Children, Min-Wei Bai, and his neko assistant, Shukutsuki.
He'd managed to defeat Min-Wei (with the help of Owen and Koyoko) and give Shukutsuki her freedom, but the girl rebelled against him, still in the mindset of her ally. She managed to get away. It is apparent that she still harbors ill will towards Neo Kaitai.
Koyoko has always suffered from amnesia and only just recently she's been having visions. Owen and her have gone off to try to find her memories.
Koyoko, the day before she left with Owen, told Kaitai that she didn't know how but she felt as if he was once very important to her.
Owen called to Kaitai's bedside the aid of three old friends of his, a doll maker named Dimitri, a blind dancer named Savannah, and a sharp-shooter named Gabriel. Dimitri is Savannah's half-brother.
That's pretty much it for now. I'll add their profiles later.
