If that were true, people would have made researches on that, and tried to make it so that they could have a child under whatever sign they want, in order to have the personality they want them to have.

Actually, people do do that.

And horoscopes and star-sign descriptions are typically quite general. Not everything has to match, although it oftentimes does.
