The Daraethean Wars

Story: The peninsula of Darae juts out from the Mainland and into the Cormory Sea. The land at the very, very tip is Gornun. Gornun has a history of being filled with all manner of trolls, giants, einharjar, bad dwarves, and generally dark creatures.

The land on the right side of the middle area of the Darae peninsula is called Viljunndmar, and is home of the daring, brave Ram-men. The Ram-men were created by the Kindly One, to be his own people. The Ram-men are extrordinarily strong, have goat-like horns, and superior leg strength. They are the ones who keep the darker creatures from the rest of the Mainland, banished in a cold, misty, dreary lifestyle.

To the left side of the middle of the Darae peninsula are the Kindar Mire, justly named by the brave human explorer, Hran Kindar. They have never been explored since, and the sole map Hran created is narrowly spread. Hios wild stories of marsh monsters have long since kept many walking around the mire. Those monsters he spoke of are mostly humagators, giant men with the torso of an alligator, the long, toothed snout, the bulging, muscular arms, tipped with a mammoth hand that ended with feral claws. A long, ripped tail juts from the base of the spine.

At the base of the Darae peninsula lies the merry land of Arduin. The lands capital, Ardustia, has long since been the seat of power. Arduin was torn with civil wars, and feudal conflicts for much of it's history. Finally, the great Master King Grendal forged together a rough alliance, composed of the five Ancient Houses. The Houses are no, basically, political parties, vying to become the next Royal Advisory to the current Master King, Archoe. Archoe is still a boy, only 12 years of age. His first act as MAster King of Arduin was to create the Royal Circular, which the peasents and commoners all the Circus.

The Crisis: The Violent One, the Counter to the creators of Ram-men, the creator of the humagators, has sent his children from the Kindar Mireinto Arduin, with the sole purpose to destroy the Throne. However, the attack went wrong, and the humagator assassin was slain. The Master King Archoe was kidnapped, and his captors have taken him back to the Mire to sacrifice him to the Violent One, before they start a campaign to control all the Peninsula.

The Royal Advisory, influenced by the Master's Guards, has issued a request. As the Arduin army was dibanded except for a small guard force, the Advisory has called for Arduin's subjects to lead an expedition into the Mire to try and retreive Archoe before the Sacrificial Moon, which is 3 months from now.

Name-Konstantin Hilliar

Rank-circus performer, and fighter

Species- Konstantin is a Ram-man.

Skills- Konstantin is a juggler in the Royal Circular, and he also does knife throwing and can ride a unicycle

Weapons-a series of throwing knives that he uses in his acts, and he can juggle them; a belt of juggling clubs with a good amount of weight; his unicycle, which he has modified by putting blades on the axal.

History-Konstantin grew up in a small village on the Arduin-Viljunndmar border, to parents that performed in a small tent they set up in the town square. There, the boy learned the tools of the stage performing trade.

During the Pacifying of the Westfold, Konstantin's village was razed, along with his parents. From that point onward, he traversed the roads of the Arduin, performing for money, and food, and board. When Archoe asended the throne and created the Royal Circular, Konstantin joined in a heart beat. He had good wages, a good bed, and ate well every night.

When Archoe was captured, Konstantin felt obligated to rescue the boy who had saved his career, and so decided to use his talents for the betterment of Arduin. He set off for the capital at once, was recruited with some others, and now waits in the Royal Visitory (hotel) to begin his quest.
