The announcer roared his own applause to add to the audience. Everyone was on edge for this match to be as thrilling as the last.

OOC: Okay, maybe it's about time I posted. Maybe.
Behind the large doors leading to the arena stood a young woman, her eyes closed. At the mention of her name, Laraine opened her emerald green eyes, and looked at the door, imagining what was beyond it. The arena, the crowd, her opponent. She could hear the crowd cheering, excited, waiting impatiently for this battle to start. It had been a while since she fought, but she felt as ready as ever.
Grabbing her trusty lance which was resting against the wall, Laraine pushed the door open, and began walking towards the center of the arena. Her dark crimson hair flowed gracefully with every step she took, her eyes were fixed in front of her, never once glancing at the crowd. She stopped, and waited. Her opponent hadn't appeared yet; she wondered what kind of fighter he was.

OOC: Sorry Kinnda I would have posted yesterday but when you left I had to get off right after and wasn't allowed on for the rest of the day.
Teji woke up. He grabbed his deck of cards and put on his uniform, and rushed to the arena, he was late. The stupid wake up call backfired and here he was rushing to make it before disqualification. As he reached the arena he slowed down, he didn't want to waste all his energy already.
Teji opened the door and saw his opponent standing the arena, looking somewhat annoyed.
"Greetings, sorry I was late."

The annoyance written on Laraine's face never left, even after he apologized. She looked at him, trying to get a good read of him before commencing the battle.
"You barely made it", Laraine stated matter-of-factly. She then took on a fighting stance, all the while not taking her eyes off of Teji. "I hope you're ready, at least."

Teji checked his pockets.
Hmm not there.... Teji then checked his back pockets, found the cards and secretly took them out.
"It seems I forg-"
Just then Teji took all the sharp cards and threw them at Laraine.
OOC:The Ace of Flames
TE takes all the cards and throws it at the enemy's, and all the aces cut -if hit- make a deep cut.

His first attack didn't come as a surprise to Laraine; as a fighter, she learnt that always be wary of the very first attack, as it was the most dangerous. Afterwards, it would become easier to read the opponent; the first attack says a lot about them, after all.
The moment she saw him throw his cards, Laraine rolled to the side, before the cards could get close to her. She then got up, then turned to run at Teji, ready to thrust her lance at him.

Teji was surprised she could dodge this.
He noticed she was ready to attack him, so he ran as far back as possible, and then used his mind to make the cards come back to his hands.
Then he took all the cards and threw them right at Laraine again, except this time they multiplied and started flying all over the area.
OOC:Twin Double Kill
The Twin cards will double into four and be thrown all over the area damaging the enemy when he/she tries to move.

When Laraine began charging at her opponent, she noticed from the corner of her eye that the cards moved back to his hand. She slowed her pace, as she predicted another attack, and prepared to dodge. Indeed, he had thrown his cards once more, but this time, they had somehow doubled. There was no way Laraine could ever dodge that attack, so instead, she stopped running, and went down on one knee, protecting herself with her arms to sustain the least damage possible. The cards flew by her, some cutting her arms, others her legs, drawing a bit of blood out from all the wounds, but overall, she didn't take any serious damage. At least, nothing she considered serious enough to stop her from fighting.
"So is this how you want to play things?" Laraine questioned her opponent, sounding harsh, "If you think having some distance keeps you safe, then you're gonna be sorry!"
As soon as she spoke that, the tip of her lance glowed softly a golden light. The red-haired fighter pointed her lance at Teji, and a beam of light shot out of it.

This attack caught Teji off guard, just as it hit him he flew backwards and he quickly got up.
"Hmm not as weak as I thought for a woman."
Then Teij forced the cards to come back as a normal deck of cards.
"Hmph if you want to fight me like a man you will have to do better."
Just then Teji flickered invisible.

Teji turns invisible for two attacks, but every time he attacks his invisibility cloak flickers.
