THINK ABOUT IT
UNLIMITED ENERGY

YOU COULD CLOAK FOREVER!

What would the newborn cockroaches eat to gain enough energy to produce offspring?

Yeah. Your body and the larvae would compete for the limited nutrients in the dead cockroaches. To feed the larvae, you need food, but if they're getting food, then you aren't. You didn't think your plan through, now you're going to starve.

And your cloak would only last for three hours at that rate.

They eat the food that goes down my stomach.
Duh.

So you'd just eat like normal, while having a parasite-like infestation of live cockroaches in your stomache?

Maybe.

You would have to eat more to nourish yourself as well as the roaches, making you fat. Also, a large swarm of insects in your belly will aid in making you fat.

Your plan for unlimited energy is flawed, Alex.

The roaches would eat their own eggs.
They would produce a lot of them.
There problem solved.
Except for the fat part.
But it's okay being fat.

That doesn't make sense.
If they eat their eggs, then there will be no baby cockroaches to come about once the older ones die.
And if you did eventually get some, it would still make no sense, because energy would always be lost to heat, as well as non-reproductive systems inside of the cockroaches.
You can not have a self-contained perpetual cockroach system.

If you believe it, you can achieve it.

Not when what you believe is in contradiction to the laws of thermodynamics.
