Yeah, I killed him not long after I said I wanted to. Didn't leave him a chance to have a death wish Oh, and Alex When Daryl said that, he was talking to me, not you Friday, december 14th; Damn. I was sick yesterday, and pretty badly. Spent the whole freakin day in bed. I'm better now, though, much better, but yesterday I was close to agony.

So my mother came back yesterday from France.

Wednesday, december 19th;
So we were supposed to travel today morning, but we're still here.
I got a terrible case of flu; I was in bed all morning, and I couldn't move, at all. I'm feeling a bit better now, though, but even then, we might not go tomorrow either. Mother said I needed to rest, and one night after what happened this morning might not be enough. That'll shorten the trip to 3 days, but eh. I honestly don't care about the trip at the moment; I just want to recover.

Friday, december 21st;
Trip's been cancelled, and I STILL don't feel better.
I wish there was a medication or a spell that would make things better... *sigh*
Fuck life.

You might be able to get some over-the-counter stuff that helps relieve some of it. Here in the US, there's an entire industry based on stuff like this.

Unfortunately, I don't live in the US. The only thing I could take is a bunch of pain reliever that don't seem to give much effect.

Sunday, december 23rd;
By yesterday, mother was starting to suspect that what I have isn't a simple flu.
So today, we had a doctor come over to take a blood sample to analyze. The results came in the afternoon, and...
It turned out I have hepatitis A.
Joy.

Hope you get that treated soon. I'd hug you, but I don't want what you have. =P

*hugs you anyway, seeing as how the worse thing she could get would be a computer virus*
...
*didn't find that funny either*

Just to clear some things up... This can't be treated. Only time will help me recover. I'll have to look after what I eat (since the liver is damaged), and rest a lot. Second, this isn't contracted by air or touch, but orally (like if you drink from the same cup I would have drunk from).

Hepatitis A is rarely fatal, like a 1 in 1000 chance of it, and only if you have a badly weakened immune system. It does sometimes take a long fucking time to recover completely.
However, when you do recover, it becomes impossible to catch it again. Also, those who do recover will recover wholly, as Hepatitis A will not cause permanent damage to your liver.

Chance of death is about 4 in 1000 for those below the age of 50, 17.5 in 1000 for those 50 +, and probably a bit less for those near Kinda's side of the age spectrum. It's also most common in those with other versions of Hepatitis. Recovery does take a very long time, but most people see a slow but steady increase in condition after the initial month. Also, after recovery, about 15% of sufferers experience a relapse within 24 months, though after that I believe they are immune to future infection. It's pretty nice that the liver recovers, though.

Atleast it's not something too bad! Recover soon! Sooner... Faster! Faster! Faster!

I'm aware of that, and I'm not worried about it. It's just that, while you have it, it fucking sucks, cause at first you're in pain and nauseous and so damn tired, and even when you start feeling better, you wouldn't have recovered fully and you'd need a long time for that, and that sucks a lot too, because you have to watch what you're eating for your liver's sake (in other words, no fat stuff allowed; no chocolate, no cheese, NO MILK, no anything with butter/fat in it).

You need a Purify spell. Instant cast spell, removes 1 disease effect and 1 poison effect from the target.
Where's a Healadin when you need one?
