Sunday, july 25th; Oh Lord. I only slept for like a couple of hours. I woke up at the sound of a man yelling in the house. I got scared, I thought someone was getting killed or something. Turns out my brother showed up at 5 AM to talk about something with my father, and it went really badly, ending up with both of them yelling, my father nearly beating my brother (only to be stopped by his wife), and my brother grabbing my father's laptop and breaking it. Man... I'm still pretty shaken up. Guess I'll have to function on a couple of hours of sleep today. Jesus Christ, I'm glad you're okay. Why were they arguing so much?

Well... I gotta explain something first. See, when it comes to marriage, here in Syria, it's quite old-fashioned. You know, the mother goes to see the girl, and if she thinks she's suitable for her son, they get engaged. Now, my brother's engaged to a girl, and would like to get married. But the girl's family won't accept marriage if my brother doesn't have an apartment or a house or something. And that's where my father comes into play; he promised my brother to buy him an apartment. So for a couple of months now maybe, my brother would ask nearly everyday whether he found an apartment or not, and my father would be like "soon hopefully".
Soooo my brother's got really impatient, and I guess there's some pressure on him; he's afraid to lose the girl if he doesn't get an apartment asap. So he showed up this morning, at 5 AM, to get my dad to buy him an apartment asap. The conversation didn't go so well, and ended up in horrible yelling and they nearly beated each other out had we not intervened (or more like, had it not been for my dad's wife's intervention, I was too scared to get in the middle of it). They were both sick of this conversation, actually; my brother is sick of always asking, and my father is sick of always being asked.
So, yeah... now my brother's begging for forgiveness because he realized he was a dick by barging in at 5 AM and yelling at my father like that. I mean, what my brother told him was completely right; he had good, valid arguments. But he completely discredited himself by acting this way. Ah well... I'm just glad no one got hurt. I was terrified, and was sure someone was going to get killed.

Wow! That really sucks. I'm glad no one got hurt. I hope things between your brother and father work out. =/

Monday, August 2nd;
BACK TO FRANCE! Sheesh, I've been waiting for this for who knows how long. Okay, for a month, but it felt longer... sheesh, worst holidays I had ever. I'm never going back if my mother isn't there.

Thanks.
Wednesday, August 4th;
Fuck this shit. Whenever my relationship with my mom gets well, something, or someone, has got to come and ruin it. And, as always, it's her fucking boyfriend. That asshole mistreats her, makes a million promises without realizing a single one of them, breaks her heart, and she still holds on to him and hopes for something. And we always fight about him, always. I wish my mom would see how stupid she is acting, but she always counters any and all argument with "you don't know how it feels, you can say all you want, it's really hard to get over it". Did I ever say the contrary? Sheesh, I may be young, but I've been through shit, too, and I know how hard it can be to get over it. But the point is, if you don't fucking TRY, then you don't get any-fucking-where.
I wish that shithead would flat out break up with her. But he'll never do it. Sheesh, I don't even know why I'm giving a fuck; it's my mother's life, after all. If they do end up getting married, and she gets miserable even more afterwards and regrets it, it's her problem. But argh... fuck empathy. I wish I could kill my emotions sometimes, or shut them out temporarily, because I reaaaaaally didn't need them at that moment.

Friday, August 27th;
So some of you might know from Facebook, but to those who don't, I lost a good amount of songs because my cousin deleted them. They were on her external HDD, and she thought I didn't need them (didn't bother asking me). Initially, I thought I lost over 2000 songs. I just made the list, and I lost a total of 1953 songs. While not as bad as I thought at first, I still want to cry.

That would kill. I would break something. Good luck restoring them.

I wanted to break her hard drive so she'd know what it is, but it'd be too much. She's got a lot more stored in it than I did.
And thanks, though I haven't started yet. I need to get a hard drive of my own first...

Cetasaurus: I didn't. I gave her back her drive and I didn't say much. And I listen to all sorts of rock. Sometimes I listen to pop (but rarely). @alex: My Muse collection is safe, but thanks

Monday, September 13th;
Urgh, my schedule is just... schizophrenic.
So on Monday, I have only one class, at 4 PM. Tuesday, only two, one at 4 PM, the other at 6 PM. Wednesday, I've got nothing at all.
Sounds good so far, right?
Well, on Thursday, I've got class from 10 AM... until 8 PM. With no break (unless you count the 15 minutes break between each class, but that's only enough to move from one class to the other). What the hell, people? And I can't get my schedule changed, unless I have a valid reason (basically, if I work only). ARGH.
Friday is fine. Classes from 10 AM until 4 PM.
Overall, my schedule isn't so bad, just... Thursdays are going to be quite hellish. I hate Thursdays already.

Well, I need to get it justified somehow (and the only excuse that works is when it's job-related).
Mind, I can switch some classes, as long as they're lectures.

Actually, I can go to a different lecture with no problem. They don't control your presence in lectures. So it's what I did. Now I have a two-hour break on Thursday, which gives me the time to eat/relax. Sunday, September 26th; I dyed my hair! And it's just awesome
