Cornhole is an evil game.
Probably popular in Ohio because of all the excessive corn that farmers grow for funsies.

July 7
So with Laura sadly out of commission and Kinda with limited access, I think its safe to say we're in a recession. Unfortunate, yes, but I'd like to try and keep things moving as much as possible so we're all ready to go whenever we get our girls back.

Unfortunate, yes, but I'd like to try and keep things moving as much as possible so we're all ready to go whenever we get our girls back. We're more or less on pause. The only not bad thing is the fact that BGQ was banned before the bad news came out, and he can't make a troll comment.

This I agree with, haha.
But my access to the computer is limited as well, so I unfortunately am contributing to this recession. I can only use my grandmother's computer at home, which while fairly fast (given its age) also has its periods of complete and total freezing, which leads me to shut it down, because I can't just close the program and restart it through Task Manager. It won't let me.
So yeah, I feel the pain of the recession, as we're calling it. But until I can get my computer fixed, I'm going to be on every two to three days or so.
So summer feels pretty suckish now. Just sayin'. :I
But yeah, at least we're still alive, eh?

Yeah, summer does feel pretty suckish for me, too. But we try to get by.
I miss you all!

August 1 *sigh* It's August. Great. School starts in a matter of weeks and I realize I did no writing over the summer. I'm leaving on Friday for a week long vacation that I don't really want to be on because when I get back I have three days before school and limited last-minute friend time. Too soon to reflect on the summer as a whole yet. August 4th I'm getting my hair cut. I guess it's more accurate to say I'm getting it styled differently. It'll still be long. It goes slightly past my shoulders now. It'll probably be down to my neck, but just fashioned differently. Amanda's going to help me pick out pictures tomorrow/today. By the way, it's really late. Like, 4AM. I can't sleep worth shit anymore. That's all for now.

I know what you mean about summer ending. So disappointing. That, and I didn't accomplish anything this summer. I still have to finish a massive school project, too. =/
You should post a picture of your haircut.
And why can't you sleep anymore?

I never had awesome sleeping habits to begin with, but summer has just trashed them. Go to bed around 3AM, wake up around 1PM. That and I just can't get to sleep easily. Something I've always struggled with. :/

That bites. I think summer kinda has its own sleep pattern for everyone, but 3am to 1pm is a little extreme... Good luck with that I guess... : (

Set your alarm for 8 hours then. Wake up at 11. As soon as you get out of your bed you'll be fine. (that's the hard part)
And lol @ school. I don't start until September.

August 4
Really early August 4th. I'm getting my hair cut later today. Pictures will be up on ToM, but not on facebook. I'm keeping it a secret from the general populace. Close friends know. Other friends don't.
I was freaking out about it a while ago...but I've just kind of come to accept that it's going to happen sooner or later and this is the most convient time to do it. I have a week plus change to grow into it. I'll have Amanda around for trauma control (I've had terrible hair cutting experiences in the past, including almost losing part of my left ear). And I get the bonus of shock factor on the first day of school.
By the way, I'm leaving really early Friday on a week-ish long vacation. I'm not too thrilled, considering the deteriorating relationship with my parents. Inversely, my relationship with my older sister has gotten so much better, which is awesome. Dare I say, I love her now. Always used to butt heads with her. Now I guess I'm older and blah blah blah...
I believe I get back the evening of the 15th. Sorry for just helping the inactivity along.
Storming right now. And as much as I love storms, it means I'll have to sleep on the couch upstairs to keep my dog Clyde company. Thunder scares him and he'll just bark until someone's with him. It's kind of cute actually.
Couple days ago marked 22 months for my girl and I. Yayz.
If I wasn't leaving shortly, I'd encourage RP advancement, but they'd just die again when I leave. So...until I return!...love you all.
Peace.

Heh.
My sister left for camp and I didn't realize how much I would miss her.
Yeah I guess it's a part of growing up, you'll get closer to your siblings (hopefully).

August 15
So, if no one noticed, I'm back. Inform me of anything I missed.
I'm trying so hard to get writing again. I really need to start again. I miss it...I just find myself with a huge lack of drive. And I don't have Word on my computer. It got wiped long ago with my system purge, and I've yet to locate the install CD. :/
School starts Thursday. Pretty excited. Schedule is:
Period 1, Sem 1: Theatre Arts 1 Period 1, Sem 2: Theatre Arts 2
Awesome start to the day...all year...win.
Period 2: AP LA 12
Yeah yeah, AP...whoop de doo...can't say I'm excited for it. But this class is more reading less writing than vice versa last year.
Period 3: AP Bio
Science. Awesome.
Period 4: Show Choir
Used to always be 7th period...dunno why it changed but it's not all that pleasing. Oh well.
Period 5, Sem 1: Psych Period 5, Sem 2: Photography
The only reason this is worrisome is that it determines my lunch period and it may change. I can always drop photography for study hall if I need to, but whatever. Period 6: FST
Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry. FUUUUUU I hate math.
Period 7: Study Hall
Whatever...
*sigh* Sleepy.

Welcome back! I wanna write, too. But, I'm lacking ideas/inspiration. And nothing's inspiring me so much. You start school already?! I won't be going back to class before September 20th... then again, I'm in uni

Yeah, welcome back. Don't worry, you didn't miss anything. There were exactly ten posts made after you left.
I start school August 30th. Those look like pretty good classes. Which should be your favorite?

Thankes you two. Yeah, Kinda, we start pretty early, but we get out earlier than other schools in the area. And I figured out something about why I love RPs so much: I'm working/writing with at least one other person. That gives me (and them) material to work off of and a person to bounce ideas around with. Which is why they need to happen again. But impending school is delaying my focus...:/
Theatre Arts will prolly be my favorite class, just because it's all about fun and I love theatre. And it covers so many different aspects of the trade. And lots of my friends take it. :3
Otherwise, LA, Bio, and Psych are sure to be interesting, just harder. Show Choir tends to be fun cause we take lots of trips out to preform, especially in the winter. FST will SUCK. And hopefully I can get a pass out of study hall to a more interesting venue.

Yeah that's why I RP as well. I can't get my plots or characters to last when I write alone. Of course, I've been a pretty lazy RPer of late.... I haven't been focused enough lately to actually contribute anything other than a new character who is often rather random. I have been RPing for... 8 months or something, but my engagement has only dropped. Yeah.... real life and stuff.
And Theater Arts does sound fun. Except I don't think my school offers it. Have fun though. Tell us of your ventures if you want - it sounds like an interesting class.
If you could replace study hall with something, what do you think you would choose?

I dunno...prolly some class my friends would be in.
But, in other news, there's a local high school theatre awards thing that happened in June and I got the results online. I got two merit awards (step down from AWARD OF EXCELLENCE) for my roles of Geppetto in Pinocchio and Bun Foo in Millie. That's REALLY exciting for me! :D
