Only to find that none of my TVs are compatible with it. The TV that the GCN is connected to uses the RF switch with an adaptor, but evidently the Wii can't use that.
I bought this thing hoping to play the Virtual Console and play the classics that I miss dearly.
I...am...pissed.

Hook it up to the big satellite TV. I can probably fing the kind of splitter that I'll need for it. Or else unhook my PS2 and hook it into the little gaming TV. Either way, I'm not letting that money go to waste.

No you shouldn't. It's an old Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game, and is a mix of platform, puzzle solving (Zelda style) and monster killing. It's an old game, and it was pretty damn good. One of those games that if you don't pay attention to everything, you're screwed.
And I just decided to set it up on my grandma's TV. It works great, and I'm playing Landstalker...Sooooo many memories...
And, thinking back, Twilight Princess's Midna may have had a forerunner in Landstalker's Friday. Go figure.
