Following this is going to be a look at how Ganondorf will perform as a boss in WoW. To make him more in keeping with difficulty, he has been modified heavily in his Dark Lord form to cast spells instead of relying only on melee. This is based on his Twilight Princess appearance.
PHASE 1
Zelda <Twilit Puppet>
Level ?? (boss)
Type: Humanoid
HP 850,000
Link and Midna will start the encounter after you accept the event start from Midna. After a bit of dialogue exchange, Ganondorf will vanish, and Zelda will appear, immediately casting Holy Bolt. When she targets Link, Link will reflect the spell back at her, but he typically doesn't move in close like a warrior should. Link and Midna are immune to MC.
Abilities:
Holy Bolt: Deals 7500-9000 damage, stuns the target for 5 seconds. 3 second cast time. This ability MUST be Reflected by the tank.
Symbol of Heroism: Casts a very noticeable, but very large, symbol on the ground. After six seconds, this deals 11000 damage to anyone caught in it. Simply move out of the way.
Mind Control: Zelda will Mind Control a random raid member periodically, turning them into a hostile mob. Have a tank pick up the aggro and heal.
Zelda spends most of fight out of melee reach, but tends to Holy Bolt the one closest to her. When the spell is reflected, she recieves full damage, falls to the ground, and recieves double damage for five seconds. Take advantage of this, and blast her down as fast as you can. Her HP is pitiful, so this should end quickly. Afterwards, the fight goes to Phase 2.
PHASE 2
Ganon <Dark Beast>
Level ?? (boss)
Type: Demon
HP: 4,500,000
After Zelda is beaten, Midna will restore everyone to full health and mana. Ganondorf reappears and threatens the unconcious Zelda, forcing Midna to teleport her away. Then, Ganondorf begins to make a casting motion, and an arcane circle forms beneath him. He then transforms into an absolutely massive boarlike creature. (Note: Although he has the appearance of a boar, his model is that of a Gronn). Midna assists you in this fight, chain casting Shadow Bolt, Shadow Word: Death and Mind Flay. Link assists you in a different fasion, as told below.
Hits for 5-6k on a decently geared tank. His crushers deal double damage, however, rather than 1.5.
Abilities:
Dimension Shift: After he is stunned, Ganon will simply teleport away, as six portals appear around the room. Which portal he comes out of will determine where he charges. The portal will glow red when he is about to appear. Triggers Charge.
Charge: After appearing out of a portal, he will charge at a random target in the direction of the portal. The recipient will recieve 6000 damage and will be knocked against the wall, stunning the target for 10 seconds.
Cleave: Ganon has a 180 degree Cleave that deals close to melee damage to anyone withing 10 yards of him in front. He doesn't do this frequently, but it will put a serious hurt on anyone who isn't a tank. Move behind him as quickly as you can to avoid getting wrecked by this.
During the first half of this fight, Link will charge in and begin stacking a debuff on Ganon called Shining Sword's Retribution. This will cause Ganon's attacks to become slower, and his movement decreases by 20%. After five stacks, Ganon will be Stunned and will fall over. He will recieve 200% more damage. Stun lasts 10 seconds.
After he reaches 50%, Midna will shout that she is closing the portals. Ganon will cease fire, and target Midna. Midna will call for Links aid, and Link will morph into a wolf. Ganon will no longer teleport, but his attacks become swifter and he gains a few new abilities, as well as an occasional chain cleave.
Midna will no longer assist you with direct spells, and for the most part, channels at the portals to keep them closed. however, she plays a critical role later. Link's damage remains the same, but he no longer stacks his debuff.
Sunderwhirl: Ganon will Whirlwind for 15 seconds, stacking a Sundering effect on everyone in melee range, as well as causing 3000-4000 damage every three seconds. The MT needs to pull Ganon away from the rest of the raid while the melee DPS backs off until he finishes. Afterwards, an OT must pick up aggro (Ganon is not immune to taunt) while the MT's sunders wear off, otherwise the MT will recieve too much damage too quickly to heal through.
Ground Slam: Similar to Gruuls, he will knock everyone into a random direction and causes minor fall damage. Triggers Beast Roar.
Beast Roar: Causes a stacking debuff that reduces damage and healing by 25%. Will stack this 4 times over a period of 30 seconds. After four stacks, he will cast Twilit Scream. Does not attack while stacking. Lasts until Terrored. Triggers Twilit Voice.
Twilit Voice: This is similar to Deathcoil, a terror effect, only he targets everyone and recieves no health. Deals 2000 Shadow damage per tick and is unaffected by any modifiers. Lasts for 6 seconds, ticking every 2. Immediately following this Midna will cease her channeling and will cast a Hold spell on Ganondorf. Link will attack, and after three seconds, Midna will spawn a large hand that will attempt to Throw Ganon. This will fail in 8 seconds if 5 people do not click the hand. If successful, Ganon will be stunned for 15 seconds. If unsuccesful, the battle continues as normal, however, you are left wounded and without heals. Twilit Voice is not resistable, and cannot be removed with a trinket.
Silencing Scream: Ganon will cause an AOE silence periodically. Lasts 5 seconds.
Ganon goes into a berserker rage at 10 minutes, all damage is increased by 500 percent.
This fight is all about control. The tanks will make or break this part. The teleports become extremely chaotic, and the tanks need to be quick about reestablishing aggro. During the second half, the tank must learn to pull Ganon far away from everyone while he Sunder Whirls. After his health hits zero, Link will transform back and Midna will heal everyone and drop a lootable trinket, which everyone must loot. Ganon's beast form will despawn, and a huge Ghost of Ganon appears, Midna casts a teleport spell and takes you to an open field, where Phase 3 begins.
