I can hardly believe I've found my way here again, it feels like ages since I called this place home. This forum has never left my heart, along with you all. In these uncertain times I find myself drifting back to familiar shores. At some point I'll find the time to journal again, under a new thread. I don't go by the name you all have known me as anymore; I've been going by Finn since March of last year and I thank you all for respecting that. Many a thing has changed about me in recent years, some for better and, yes, some for worse, but I'm feeling so at home in my identity now and I feel myself gaining a more resolute direction in life, or, well, as much as I can during my time in quarantine.
Can you believe I ended up here after finding my old ff.net account again? Yes, the one from when I was 12. Yes, I've read it to Lucas (we're still together). We had many a good laugh.
It took me a long time to find my way back but I'm so thankful I'm here to see you all again. It's good to be home.
(Oh, and please use either they/them or he/him to refer to me from now on. Thank you.)

Welcome back! I think you'll find things here are pretty much exactly the same as you remember them. Except now we have hardly any members, I gained all the administrative power in a coup, things are better organized, and we have more writing competitions now. Also the only consistently active thread is KM8's journal. |
