Nothing really. I was 10 and wanted to leave a comment on the Pokemon Sapphire Gametalk forum lol. I imagine I was thinking of "Pokémon Maser." Then Kyogre was my favorite Poké, and 8 was my favorite number (I used to have vibrant synesthesia and 8 was the same as my favorite color, which, incidentally, was sort of a Kyogre blue lmao (but darker)).
What about the origins of Hauskaz?

Well, for the sake of continuity, I thought like, "How do I say 'Kyogre' without saying 'Kyogre?'" Taxonomically, the prefix "ceta" is used to identify species in the order in which whales belong. It came from the Greek root 'ketos,' which meant basically any ginormous sea monster, and was also the name of a sea monster in some myth or something. Then I also like dinosaurs and figured, well, Kyogre is basically a dinosaur, right? Like, semi-justifiably? So now here I am, whale-dinosaur. abomination.
Changed it because I had just kinda defaulted into KM8 after a while, even though that's not really a name – figured it was time to change it to something less robotic lol.
