Name: Mills Tate
Age: 16
Appearance: Mills is of average height, fair skin, and has clean-looking blue hair. He wears bronze chainmail, and has black steel toed boots covered partially by brown cargo pants. He has dashing violet eyes, and a mouth that never seems to express more than a soft smile.
Weapon: A long lance, painted yellow and blue in a checkerboard pattern.
Magic (a maximum of 6 spells):
Pyrite Dance: By dragging his feet in long strides, Mills can transfer the friction into ignitable fire, and kick it at his target.
Mime's Fire: Taking about 10 seconds to build up control, Mills can place a 5 ft wide, 5 ft tall wall of fire on any surface of the arena. It stays there for about 15 minutes.
Combustion Force: Directing a precise, and powerful jolt of energy into his lance, Mills can aim an incredibly destructive line of blue fire at a target. It can only be used once every 3 hours, and often causes the user to faint.
Heat Source: Mills can drop a small fire orb from his hand into the arena, and that orb slowly absorbs all the heat in the surrounding area, making it grow over time. It emits no heat, but is very hot to the touch. This attack makes the surrounding area incredibly cold.
Capture Pin: A needle-like staff is summoned to the center of the arena, and the next attack that hits it is captured by it, and the attack is divided by two and sent back at both Mills and his opponent.

Name: Fale Bashimi
Age: 14
Appearance: Fale is of standard height, slightly tan skin, and has messy purple hair worn in a pony-tail. She wears a long sleeved, but short bodied jacket with a lot of large buttons over a long sleeved mesh shirt. She has a matching green skirt-shorts, and tall green boots that come up to her knee. She has a soft face, a tiny mouth, and large purple eyes.
Weapon: A black colored, curved katana.
Magic (a maximum of 6 spells):
Shadow Release: The color from the blade spills on the floor and the weight of this sword is lowered to nothing more than the weight of the handle. Benefits in hand to hand combat.
Air Gag: A spell that, when concentrated, can forcibly pull all the air out of an opponent's lungs. It chokes them temporarily, and can be used as a method of torture, stalling, and stunning an opponent.
Wind's Revenge: Initiated by a short jump, as Fale's body starts coming down, she builds the pressure of the wind beneath her much higher. When she lands, the air explodes away from her in all directions. It's very damaging when close, but is less threatening from afar.
Eagle Talon: Channeled from her sword, if Fale slashes through air, it sends a sharp current of air to long distance opponents.
Mirror Cartwheel: When Fale is being attacked by a projectile, she can cartwheel out of the way in both directions, creating her actual form, and a wind-illusion. Both her and the illusion then charge her target, and if the wind illusion hits, then the target will suffer a fierce impact, sending them in the other direction. This is a powerful, but draining skill, and can't be used much.
Air Disruption: Lifting her sword in the air, a strong current of air will come down from directly above and impact both her and her target. It's more or less used for disrupting attacks and stalling. Only damage it deals is if the opponent hits their chin when they fall.

Name: Elric Eron
Age: 21
Appearance: He has pale white skin, making the white scars on his face nearly invisible. His hair is jet black, straight, hanging loosely at his shoulders. His eyes are dark blue. Elric wears a leather vest, black pants, a black and purple robe, and leather boots.
Weapon: A five foot knotted wooden staff.
Magic (a maximum of 6 spells):
Orb: A basic, versatile dark magic spell Elric simply calls Orb. Orb can attack, be shaped into different shapes to attack with, absorb simple spells, knock people and projectiles away, act as an eye in the sky, and other simple tasks.
Spirit Burn: A wave of spiritual energy is directed at the enemy. If it hits, the enemy experiences a rather mild burning sensation, but their energy is sapped slightly. Obviously, it is more devastating in succession.
Fade's Embrace: Elric opens a rift to the Fade, the spirit world, and guides it's energies to feast upon the enemy, draining them of spiritual (magical) power.
Phobia: A mental attack, Elric makes the enemy believe that their fears, whatever they may be, are present at the fight. May cause hallucinations, depending on how afraid the victim is.
Redirected Focus: A skill needed for his recent daemon hunting, Elric enters a state of dedication, giving him a psychological boost to pursue the enemy. This shortens Elric's emotions, though, which can be utterly devastating to himself.
Daemon's Blood: Elric spills his own blood and corrupts it with the taint of a daemon. He then gathers this blood within an Orb and hurls it at the enemy like a grenade. The blood will causing a burning sensation on contact and invokes fury and mental torment. Not only does this cost Elric blood, but he must connect with a daemon to use its taint and puts him at risk of being possessed.

Name: Elliot Shale
Age: 35
Appearance: Shale possesses multiple scars, burns, and fresh wounds over his weathered skin from constant dangerous experimenting. His black hair is short and slick. His eyes a light brown. He wears light armor into combat: a light leather cuirass, padded slacks, knee high boots, and a long brown coat to hold his vials and beakers.
Weapon: His own invention, CAPPERS: Chemical And Projectile Pressurized Extended Range Shooter. A three-shot handgun with a lengthy reload that can shoot little capsules of chemicals and other projectiles at long ranges. A lever on the back is pulled to begin pressurizing the shot. The longer the wait, the more powerful the shot. Prone to breakdown. Also carries vials of his chemicals.
Magic (a maximum of 6 spells):
Steel Round: A small steel ball fired from CAPPERS. Can pierce most armor.
Grape Shot: A small capsule filled with downsized steel rounds is fired from CAPPERS for an area of effect attack. Doesn't carry as much velocity as a single round, though.
Shrapnel Round: A steel round designed to break on contact, splitting into tiny fragments of metal. Generally not lethal, but can cause bleeding and may get lucky shots in the eyes or genitals.
Expanding Smoke: An airy substance kept mostly in vial form. When contact is made with oxygen, it rapidly expands and densifies, creating a thick cloud of smoke. Shale will often break this vial at his feet and fall back to regain range when a foe is in close quarters.
Corrosive Sludge: A thick, sticky substance that eats at metal, leather, cloth, and skin. In vial form, it is easy to evade, but there's a lot of it. In capsule form, it has higher range, but less quantity. It does stick to walls and ground though.
Nasty Gas: Too nasty to put in a vial, Nasty Gas is only available in low quantities in capsule form. In the relatively tiny area of effect, it burns eyes, throat and stomach, weakens the muscles, results in heavy coughing, nausea, potential vomiting, and other unpredictable psychological effects.

Age: 27
Appearance: Davian's silvery hair hangs loosely around his face and neck. His eyes a watery blue. He is tall and broad, but has a kind face. For the tournament, he wears thin chainmail under a tunic with a stormcloud insignia, leather boots and gauntlets.
Weapon: A four foot longsword with a powerful wooden hilt. His sword can channel lightning.
Magic (a maximum of 6 spells):
Lightning: Davian can fire a bolt of lightning from his hand or by channeling it through his sword.
Thunderclap: Sword sheathed, Davian channels energy into his hands and then claps, releasing a loud crack of thunder. This can stagger foes for a second or two.
Shock and Awe: If engaged in melee combat with an opponent, Davian will parry an attack, strike with the flat of his blade, causing a small jolt, then strike with the pommel, releasing a burst of thunder, knocking the opponent away several feet.
Squall: After moments of channeling energy, Davian can shoot a ball of lightning into the air, creating a small thunderstorm: rain, wind, thunder, and the occasional lightning strike.
Command: Wind: If Squall is active and his sword is sheathed, Davian can use his hands to guide the wind from the squall, repelling projectiles.
Lightningrod: If Squall is active, Davian can hold his blade in the air, attracting a very powerful bolt of lightning. The bolt travels to his blade, through his body, and out his free hand. However powerful this attack is, Davian is always damaged by the attack and, depending on his condition, may end his life.

And I'll sign up later today. EDIT: Name: Papillon Age: 22 Appearance: long brown hair that's slightly curled at the bottom, and bangs across the forehead. Her eyes are a light shade of hazel. Her clothes are rather old-fashioned: a button-up shirt with frilly sleeves, a black leather corset as a protection, tight black pants, and knee-length, fold-down brown boots (like a musketeer's boots). On her left hand is a black, fingerless gloves. Weapon: Fleur Mortelle, a rapier especially designed for Papillon as she is left-handed. Magic (a maximum of 6 spells): Or in this case, skills. Piercing Strike: Papillon concentrates her energy, and deals a damaging blow. Phantasmal: Using her speed, Papillon circles the enemy, going around them fast, while thrusting her rapier at them at random times, enabling her to attack a lot and making her attacks unexpected, although rather weak. Blade of the Illusionist: When close to an enemy, Papillon can use this trick, by thrusting and swinging her blade at an insane speed, creating illusions that she's attacking. This can be used as a way to confuse her opponents. The Magician's Act: When facing an opponent, Papillon can in a flash disappear and reappear behind the opponent, like a magic trick. In truth, she just uses her speed to be behind the opponent when he least expects it. She cannot use this skill often, and she can only use it best around the beginning of a battle, as she would be least tired at that time. Perceive: Since she's a treasure huntress, Papillon can increase her sense of perception when she concentrates on it. This helps determine an opponent's weakpoint.
Name: Adnik Ruodak Age: 20 Appearance: Long brown hair partly attached by braids, and bangs across the forehead. She wears a white tank top, with a black sleeveless jacket over, black shorts, and a belt on which is attached a sort of skirt that covers the sides and back of her legs, but not the front. On the sides of it are sewn a dragon. She has a dragon tattoo that's on the neck, with its tail going around like a necklace. Weapon: Tiamat, an ordinary guan dao made of steel, with a red ribbon attached to the pole, right below the blade. On the index of her left hand, she wears a finger armor ring. It's not designed to hurt; she draws a seal to cast a spell with it. Magic (a maximum of 6 spells): Shelter: Adnik puts up a shield around her for a very short moment. During that time, she cannot cast spells, and the shield only protects her of physical attacks (magic goes through). The Black Beast: The opponent sees the arena darker, with patches of blood here and there. He/she hears people screaming, while an unseen beast growls. This is an illusion only perceived by the one cast upon, and can strike fear (and maybe even confusion). Affliction: this spell gives the same wounds to the opponent as the ones Adnik has received. As it is a strain to use this spell, Adnik cannot use it if she's heavily wounded. Replica: Adnik creates duplicates of herself (max. 4). The duplicates can't do any damage, but can simulate an attack. Time's Haste: Time speeds up for Adnik for a short while, making her faster than ordinarily. Esmond, the Dragon Lord of Waters: Her ultimate spell (and the most complicated to cast), Adnik summons a dragon spirit, Esmond, who wreaks havoc by creating waves, escalading into a tsunami, and then freezing the water over. Adnik is only able to summon him once.
Name: Kyo Age: 25 Appearance: Kyo is fairly tall, slightly muscular, and has intense blue eyes. His light brown hair is rather long and is parted at the side. He wears casual jeans, black shoes, a black shirt and a black biker jacket. He also has a piercing near his left eyebrow. Attached to his belt are two small satchels on the sides, in which are two different kinds of bullets, of different color and size. He also has two bullet belts criss-crossing, that he wears over the shoulder, and which are also of different color/size. Weapon: Cursed Fairy, an ornate pistol made of bronze he cherishes, as it is a gift. It is special, as it does not fire normal bullets, only magical ones. Its chamber is custom-made: the holes aren't of the same sizes, making it so that he can fire different sorts of bullet, but only once of each. Attached to the pistol is a bayonet, for close-range combat. Magic (a maximum of 6 spells): Poison Ivy: a shot of this “glues” the enemy down. Lightning Strike: If the bullet hits the opponent, he or she will be blinded by a succession of flashes. If used in close range, Kyo could get affected by it, too. Sakpata's curse: makes the opponent very dizzy. Pyromaniac: When Kyo shoots, the bullet explodes midway and envelopes the opponent in fire. Because of the bullet's high caliber, and thus has a strong recoil, it is hard to aim correctly with it. The first couple of “spells” last momentarily. The third lasts longer, but is harder to “use” (reason being similar to the last spell). [Will finish this later...]

Appearance: Brown, curly hair. Short beard and mustache. Wears an overcoat made of fur and carries around a large backpack full of chemicals for quick healing, poison and explosives.
Weapon: A sword that can light into flames. It can also spit fire or control nearby fire.
Magic (a maximum of 6 spells): (These aren't really spells, but...)
1)Explosive Vial: Thrown and explodes. 2)Poison: Applied to a weapon to make the enemy feel nauseous. 3)Herb Patch: Slapped onto a wound to relieve pain and protect from infection. 4)Flame: Flames spit out of the sword and... burns things.

(I'm fashionably late to the party, dammit, and you know it!) I'm a bit disappointed that the team tourney was dropped, but this will give me a chance to work out some of my newer characters (even newer than the previous three in the last tournament). Name: Elke Norburst Age: 15 (approx.) Appearance: I lost most of my pics, but I do have this avi of him. Elke has lavender hair which flops over lazily to his right, and two sets of golden bobby pins on the opposite side of his hair, both in crossed into "X" shapes. He wears a cloud gray short-sleeved coat with a gold chain connecting the two sides across the front. The coat only goes to just below his ribcage, leaving his torso exposed. He wears gray short-shorts, a tad darker than his top, and goes around barefoot. He has a tattoo-esque black ring around each wrist and ankle, and one around his neck. These rings mark him as a Levkekistantian (not a Levkek, because Levkek is derogatory!). Levkekistantians have the ability to hover and soar, but not quite fly. The tattoo-like rings around his ankles, wrists and neck glow golden when he activates his flying ability. Weapon: Vitzchel, his rapier, a beloved gift from the postmaster from the capital city of Nezur'ralmiir in his home country, Levkekistanta. Magic (a maximum of 6 spells): <> Myrna - With each swing of his blade, a sickle of wind comes hurling at the foe. <> Myrvehla - With each swing of his blade, the wind around Elke starts spinning around him, creating a shield. The more times he swings, the faster the wind surrounding him becomes. <> Myrkrakis - Elke takes his rapier and thrusts it above him, then swirls it a few times. This causes the air in the arena to become wilder and more violent, but not so much that the foe is thrown all over the place... <> Enciagnorum - As Elke thrusts his rapier forward at his opponent, a burst of air comes forth and knocks the opponent square in the chest, knocking them back and/or knocking the wind out of them. He follows this immediately with an upward slash, sending a good-sized blade of wind energy at the foe. <> Enciaglarium - The air around Elke becomes extremely tense and expands out at a shocking speed, expanding out to the very farthest reaches of the battlefield, knocking the foe back and in some cases even causing concussion-like damage, if the foe was unprepared or off-guard. <> Larmuun Rakkasur - By holding tight to his enemy, Elke can envelop the both of them in a terrifying cyclone, yet the minute blades of wind will only harm the opponent, not the user of the attack. He can hold this for up to thirty seconds, unless shaken off. He tends to be more tired after this attack than any other because it takes more stamina. ~~~~~ Name: Moon Argyris Age: 18 Appearance: [Pic coming soon] Thick black hair in twin pigtails, long (to just below her shoulders) and sleek with a slight wave, midnight blue eyes, white short-sleeved collared shirt with a loose black tie, black miniskirt with faint gray plaid stripes, belt, black leggings, black boots with many a buckle, and a black armband on each arm. Weapon: She has a ring on each finger of each hand, all of the rings connected by thin chains, which enable her to wield her magic more accurately and effectively. She also has two silver pistols, connected by a thin yet strong chain. Magic (a maximum of 6 spells): <> Istó Aráchni̱s - "Spider's Web" in Greek - Moon lays down an intricate layer of black lines of dark energy across the field, which will slowly sap the enemy's stamina with each moment of contact. <> Pagída Choref̱tí - "Dancer's Trap" in Greek - Causes various black lines of dark matter to come forth from the tips of her fingers, using them as whips and binds. <> Péplo Nyktós - "Night's Veil" in Greek - Causes the opponent to lose sight for a certain amount of time. If Moon is injured during this spell, the illusion fades. <> Pyló̱na tou Fidioú - "Serpent's Pillar" in Greek - Moon enraptures herself in a pillar of black fire, which, in a burst, expands into the rest of the field and swiftly disperses. Immediately following this attack, shots of dark energy rain from the sky and hit the field at random. <> Paralli̱lismós - "Parallelism" in Greek - Moon creates two copies of herself, each with the same physical and magical finesse as the original. These clones will only last for so long... NOTE: The clones can fire the same sort of energy bullets as Moon, but cannot use her spells. LET ME CLEAR SOME STUFF UP.
Why Moon is not a God-mod:
1) If there was a section called personality, you'd see that she's very aloof and overconfident (because of "family ties," we shall say) , so she doesn't really rely on her magic at all, which...
2) ...leaves her to rely on her pistols, which fire bullets of energy, which, while painful, are not one-hit KOs, but rather, do as much damage as large hail balls.
So yeah, forgive me if she seemed really strong, she's not. She's just a spoiled child who got the best training. Not as if she knows how to use it, lol.
I haven't RPed in a LONG time in battle scenarios with my own OCs, so forgive me if I'm a little rusty. I'm sorry for the uproar.EDIT: Took out Dimitri because I have someone else I wanna use, and Jasmine's joining with one of her own characters. EDIT 2: Took out her last spell because it's apparently too controversial.

(I'll update this later, but I wanted to at least post up characters.)
Name: Cassandra Kennedy
Age: 17
Appearance: Cassandra (better known as Cassie) has black hair that goes down to her shoulders, which she puts up in a ponytail for battles. She also has greyish coloured eyes, and her skin tone is a tad on the pale side. She wears a very short-sleeved blue shirt and a pair of black shorts that reach her knees. She also comes into battle wearing heavy-looking combat boots.
Weapon: Her weapons are unnamed at the moment, but they are two balisong (butterfly knives), with one having a slightly longer blade than the other. She also fights with her hands and feet when her knives are unavailable.
Magic (6 spell maximum):
Spirit Shock: Simply named, but not simply done, Spirit Shock is a spell created when Cassie focuses energy as she spins her blades, forming red and black butterflies from the quick spinning motions. If these apparitions hit her opponent, they jumble the spirit, causing spiritual pain and sometimes end up momentarily stunning an opponent. Bad news? She has to get very close to use them.
Mortal Blade: Cassie focuses spiritual energy onto a balisong, causing the blade to glow, and have a much powerful effect when used on an opponent. It can even cut through some magic spells.
S.Shot: Another spell related to spiritual energy, Cassie uses her own energy and shoots small orbs from her knives at the opponent. More annoying than dangerous, but can heavily bruise if sent at close-range.
Eviction: Her strongest "spell", she uses a highly-powered version of Spirit Shock to try and forcibly remove her opponent's spirit from their body for a matter of around three seconds per use. It's only enough to maybe get another slash in, and it is very taxing on Cassie.

Name: Amon Valihan
Age: 19
Appearance: Amon has a regal look to him, as he has his long green hair in a braid, royal purple eyes, and wears a black muscle shirt, black pants, and a half-cape over one arm (which hides his weapon). However, he also has a strange mark on one cheek which he will defend to the death from touch. Also, he will choke you with that cape.
Weapon: Dominion, a ten foot long bullwhip which is made up of black leather and a bone handle.
Magic (6 spell maximum):
Invisible Games: Amon throws his cape at an opponent and uses illusion magic to become invisible. It does not cover his sound, however. Also, if he makes footprints in the ground, those will be seen, along with his whip.
Screaming: Amon makes an illusion that the entire audience is screaming at the highest pitches possible, directed at the opponent.
Blood and Treble: Another illusion spell, this one makes the opponent believe they are heavily bleeding, along with hearing a high-pitched shriek. It is a step up from "Screaming", which needs to be activated in order to use this spell
Cracks: Amon uses his whip in a fast motion, cracking it at his opponents. This is dangerous on its own, but this spell, when it hits, jolts the opponent with a shot of electricity.
The Grand Conspiracy: The strongest of Amon's illusion spells, Amon completely changes the view of the opponent, so that they are being hunted for a crime by a pack of murderous civilians. While it is not real, and no physical harm would come to them, it can be very frightening, and give Amon a chance to attack.

Name: Drake Armandi
Age: 18
Appearance: Drake looks more like a messy person, with fairly shaggy brown hair and unimpressive green eyes. He can normally be found wearing plain black pants and a white shirt, along with gauntlets and armour for his knees and shoulders which have a blue tint to them. He is an angel and as such has grey angel wings, but he rarely uses them.
Weapon: Ichthys, a six foot, four inch long halberd that, instead of having a piercing edge on the opposite side of the axe head, has a hook.
Magic (6 spell maximum):
Lost Star Galahad: This spell is a strange one, and it does not work well on more intelligent opponents. What it does is create a bright light in the air, which is good as a distraction. Sometimes, Drake can add sounds to it, or make it flash to temporarily blind opponents. But most of the time, it is simply a big, shiny light.
Hummingbird: This spell causes the target of choice to vibrate, either softly or immensely. It can be used on inanimate objects only, and is often used on weapons to help them cut through things easier, or on opponent’s weapons to get them to drop said weapon.
Cry of Michael: Drake makes the tip of his halberd glow with a holy light, and stabs the ground, making several lances of light appear. Where the lances appear is completely random, but they stay there the remainder of the battle as hazards.
Gate of the Earthly Prisoner: This spell darkens the skies and causes it to grow cold as snow begins to fall, quickly becoming a storm of sorts. However, this snow covers for ice balls which fall shortly after, similar to hail. This lasts for a short time before the ice balls stop, but the snow lasts the entire fight.
Winged Chaos: Drake spreads his wings and spins, releasing a small flurry of arrow-like feathers at his opponent. He can only do it once per battle, and they are not as accurate as one would think (or Drake would hope).
Gate of the Heavenly King: Drake's absolute strongest spell, it creates a gate in the middle of the arena which causes shit to go down. Basically, the signs of the apocalypse begin to occur for about a minute before disappearing. However, it has a huge cost. If Drake cannot defeat his opponent in a minute after the spell disappears, he will go unconscious.

There aren't any blocks on my screen... can you bold the letters that are blocks on your computer so I can see what you're talking about?
And I'm sorry if it appears that way, it's really not that bad. The long description may make it seem that way, I'll tone it down. Thanks for pointing that out.

So while your pistols charge up a meteor shower of bullets, I have to fight off shadow animals that are essentially real animals as extra gravity throws off my attacks?

I edited it. it's not really extra gravity, it's increased air pressure to make the enemy uneasy, sort of like how one would be even a tad claustrophobic. And the animals only appear to attack, they don't. They only want to deter the attacker from getting to Moon and interrupting her spell.
Sorry for the confusion...
EDIT: And I did mention that the spell drains her, so she'll be practically defenseless for a good amount of time afterward.

Well even if the victim didn't survive, she'd still be drained. But the attack really isn't too bad unless the foe has been weakened to a certain point. It is in no way a one-hit KO.
