Remember ToMblem? Well, I decided... since the last one was such a burden to do alone, I decided...
Let's make this shit interesting!
The plot of Fire Emblem 7 will be rewritten (with help, naturally) and all members (excluding Michael, who would just make this difficult) get a part in making it... assuming everyone has played Fire Emblem, and if you haven't, I suggest you download it.
I want all characters to be renamed with a new personality, right down to Hannah the witch. I'm going to later post parts and portions of the in-game text.
Keeping in mind that you'll have to try to keep text around the same length, I want you all to write your own support conversations. If you control Eliwood, and your friend controls Lyn, then you two must team up to write your supports. It will make things infinitely easier for me...
This is still just an idea, so if you're willing to help, and I mean REALLY help, then please reply. Essentially, it'd be easier if supports were done by ToM and co, and I worked on the plot (Since it'd be a bitch to post the entire Fire Emblem text on ToM)
That is all.

Update: I thought up a system to determine growth rates for characters.
Since I'll assume everyone picks 2-4 characters and doesn't settle for one, If I tell you all to give whatever growths you want, then we'll have too many badass characters.
If I only hand out so many points, then there's no real joy to finding a good character, since all the characters will have the same amount of growths.
But... in this case, what if we played favorites?
Using myself as an example...
I chose Lucius, Jaffar, and Erk.
In this particular hack, I want Lucius to be a strong unit.
Since Lucius is my first choice, then I'll get 320% to fill his HP: Strength: Skill: Speed: Luck: Defense: Resistance:
Let's say I divide it up like this... Lucius: HP: 75% Strength: 25% Skill: 25% Speed: 75% Luck: 50% Defense: 50% Resistance: 20%
Next, I want my new thief Jaffar to be decent, so I give my second choice 300% to fill his stat growths.
Jaffar: HP: 15 Strength: 35 Skill: 45 Speed: 50 Luck: 40 Defense: 55 Resistance: 60
See? Not as great as Lucius, but clearly a good unit.
Now, I don't like Erk as much as Jaffar or Lucius, so he gets suckier growths. He'll get 280%
Erk: HP: 20 Strength: 45 Skill: 40 Speed: 20 Luck: 80 Defense: 20 Resistance: 55
Erk sucks a little more than Jaffer and much more than Lucius!
Did you know...
Of the playble characters in Fire Emblem 7, the one with the lowest total Percent Growth was Jaffar, the Angel of Death?
He's got the lowest, scoring at 235% Second place is tied at 240%. Tying character are: Renault, Vaida, and Hawkeye.
The Non prepromote with the lowest Percent growth is: Wallace at 275%, though, he is often lumped with prepromotes during easy mode, meaning that for easy mode, the lowest-growth character is... a multi-character tie. At 285%, it's Dorcas, Erk, Rath, and Canas. Best character (excluding Merlinus, Nils, and Ninian) is: Lyn and Hector, tied for 335% Nino came close with 330%.
That's enough facts for now. Basically, your first-choice character gets 320%, second choice gets 300%, and third gets 280%, and fourth will get 260%.
Stat growths are easy and simple, so don't freak. I can do them whenever, so whenever you pick your character, just slap your growths on. And don't try to get bonus numbers, because I check. Be sure to check here for updates.

Since we're going to be doing some MAJOR text editing, it's about time I start training you guys.
I'm using a parser to edit all text issues, and Nightmare Modules to edit all character growths, classes, and animation colors (which won't get much changes hopefully)
There will be a LOT of text flying around before we figure out how to organize everything, so I'm going to show you all what you'll be working with. (It's essentially very simple.)

That's the Hector/Eliwood C support.
Since Laura has control of Hector, she is the one to write the dialogue for Hector. Eliwood is unpicked currently, but let's assume that Imaginary ToM Member ToasterSpider picks Eliwood. The two would have to very carefully make sure that they don't accidentally steal dialogue from the other character. The only way to determine what character is yours is by where they enter.
[TargMediRight][OpenChar 0102 'Eliwood'] <- All words following TargMediRight are from Eliwood. [TargMediLeft][OpenChar 010C 'Hector'] <- All words following TargMediLeft are Hector.
Currently, it might look ugly, but get over it quick, because there are more difficulties you'll have to deal with.
Basic rules: Text box length does not change to adapt to words said by characters. If you write too much, then words could end up offscreen, and especially in support conversations, where you need to really go out of your way to find errors.
DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. And I mean DO NOT screw around with shit in brackets. That's uncharted territory, and one accidental slip-up, or an extra backspace, and the entire support is ruined.
Some shit in brackets causes characters to move/disappear. Try to make sure your new supports will make sense with the movement.
I understand there will be questions, but when you fool around with this some more, you'll understand how the basics work. Remember, don't be afraid to ask. And if our new hack is good enough, we could even spread it around the internet.

Okay, I've been trying to figure things out, and one thing I want to do is...
I want to give the player incentive to use characters that appear later in the game.
For the most part, characters like Karla, Geitz, and Renault are just trophies.
I'm aware that later in the game, you get quite a bit of shitty characters, but because we have such control over their fates, why can't we make this awful characters into great ones?
That's why...
I want later-appearing characters to get better stats over the ones who are in more chapters.
Example:
Wallace appears first, but he's only around 2 chapters before he disappears for a while.
Oswin isn't around for about 11 chapters, but appears until the end.
Since Wallace appears less than Oswin, shouldn't it be fair that Oswin is a little weaker than Wallace?
BUT! There's also the possibility of not getting to Wallace at all, and going to Geitz. Because Geitz is harder to get to, shouldn't he be even better than Wallace?
In short, I want to give the later characters a fighting chance at being used.

Oh guys, for help with the support conversations, there's this. www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/468480/26844It shows who has supports with who, so you can get an idea of who you're working with on it. For example, as Hector, I've got to work with Lisa, Kinda, and Griffin (twice). There's still two characters unknown, and I have to write a conversation by myself for Hector/Farina. And guys, it's FUN. If you didn't notice, there's a support up complete between Brandon and myself. It took three hours over MSN to do, but you'll enjoy it.
