Since it's against the rules to stretch boards, it only makes sense to see what constitutes as board stretching, by seeing what the lowest used resolution on ToM is. A nonstretched message area takes up about 72% of the my screen, so we'll set the maximum image width to about 75-80% of the smallest resolution checked.

A nonstretched message area takes up about 72% of the my screen... lol, "the my". Also, I use 1280×1024, but I have my windows sized to 800×600.

Yeah, 'the my', got a problem with that? >=(
Can't you use a better size for your resolution, like 1024 by 768? >_> I guess the limit's 600-640 in width, unless someone here uses 640 by 480....

With a 640×480 window, even regular posts with only text stretch the page. So, if anyone uses that, they're screwed anyway.
Also, I think 800 is a reasonable width for images, as that won't stretch a window that is 1024 in width, and if I need to maximize my window, I can. It will only be a problem for whoever selected 800×600 in the poll, but whatever.

Alright, since S-D is willing to compromise, we all get an extra 200 pixels to work with =D Yay S-D!

That person who voted 800×600 in the poll is screwed though. Oh well, who cares about them anyway.

I don't know the exact numbers, but it has a 16 in it, so it's none of those.

2560 x 1600? 1680 x 1050? 1600 x 1200?
Or did you mean your screen ratio is 16:10?

Depends on what computer I'm using. On this one, it's 1280x800 (Widescreen resolution, what?). On my other PC, it's 1024x768.
