Some famous wine guy died. Even though his wine was disgusting, it's sad.

[day]
My stomach's been messed up for a few days now. It feels as if Vietnamese centipedes are crawling throughout it. It felt better for a bit, but then got worse about an hour ago.

May 28th, 2008
I broke an expensive crystal figurine.
I was hesitating whether to put this in the downside of your day topic or the highlight of the day one.

*wince*
EDIT:
May 29
I had my first period exam only, but my friends had 1st and 5th. So, we walked to a nearby McDonalds (2.5 miles) and I walked back with them, (another 2.5 miles) and then walked back to my house (about 2 miles).
My feet hurt.

Yeah. I was shocked. I mean, the thing probably costed around $700. Not to mention that I broke it right in front of her. I was expecting her to yell at me, but instead she started laughing.

You have a $700 crystal figurine just lying around the house? How did you break it? What's the story behind it?

@daryl: It's not lying around the house We've got quite a few crystal figurines. This one happened to be one of the more expensive ones. See, it was in a closet. Yesterday, mother and I were picking up some crytal figurines to take with us (we're starting to pack, since it's a long process, and since the divorce should most likely happen soon). I asked if we could take this, but mother said no, because it'd be too obvious that we took some figurines (it was pretty big). Anyways, the figurine I broke was of a pegasus, and it was on a stand. I wanted to take a closer look at it, so I picked it, holding it from the stand. I thought the pegasus was stuck to the stand, but... apparently not, because as soon as I picked it up, the pegasus slipped and fell head-first. So much for having wings. matt: lol. Mother wouldn't have done that, though; I mean, laugh about how she was going to kill me. The least she'd have done is yell at me. But since my parents are going to be separated, and she won't be able to take the pegasus with her, she didn't really care whether it broke or not. She wasn't the one who bought the thing, anyway, so no loss for her.
