The Challenge Board... Ah, it seems to have been blown away in the Canadian Hurricane, so why not put up a new one? This bulletin board lay flat against a wall in the conference area of the arena. There, one could administer challenges to fellow fighters and state a place if need be. All they had to do was tack a note to the navy blue paper and wait for the desired person to view it. The first note was posted in the center by someone not really prone to violence. Dear whomever,
Sorry to bother ya, but I'm a bit new at this whole "fighting" business. I'm a lance-user and ready for training. My last teacher was impressed by my skills, but I still think I've a long way to go.
Could you please meet me in the Banshee Forest sometime soon? I'll be there from noon to evening, so please do attend!! I'd love to meet you, whoever you may be!! Please bring this note!! ♥
Sincerely, Perdita Toivonen ♥ ♥ ♥ A second one was placed to the far right of the board. Greetings, worthy adversary!!
I'm looking for a good fellow to spar with!! I'm a Falcoknight and I'm also quite the charmer, so make sure you look good!!
Oh, and make sure you're a guy as well!! You choose the place; I'm not picky.
Trash this note if you decided to pay me a visit, ne?
Much love to ya, Anthony Miryx ♥ Of course, Anthony had to be a flirt and post something like that. Perdita's is understandable, though; she hasn't had any training since August. Who would be the first to answer these requests, hm? (((Yes, I know Perdita is Carson's character. Get over it. XP )))

A tiny pink note was pinned close to the one written by Anthony's.
Meet me at a fancy italian restaurant. How about Bertucci's? Please leave your flying horse at home, it'd probably ruin the mood. Also... they probably wont let it in...
Hugs and kisses, Kichiro
Zofia walked by, saw the note. '~sigh...~'

The bulletin board seemed to have started to collect dust; no one has issued any challenge in a long time. One would think the place had died. But as soon as the thought would have crossed their mind, it would go away, for there was a new note that suddenly appeared on the board.
The ink was red, as if it was written in blood. The writing, on the other hand, wasn't as creepy; it was elegant and beautiful, like it was a work of art rather than just a simple note. In it, it read:
To Kaitai,
It has been a while since we last met. How have you been? I do hope you are doing all right, because I wouldn't want to see you dispirited, after so long...
I await you on the dead plains, tomorrow at sunset. Don't keep me waiting... I am eagerly waiting for you...
No name nor signature was left on the note. However... if there was someone around when the note was posted, they would have heard a chilling laughter in the distance...

By word of his creator, Neo Kaitai walked down the hallway and stopped in front of the challenge board. Despite the security Wulfi provided for his brother, the neko's shoulders still held a dark slump and his eyes were tired. The coldness within his sharp feline eyes was a new sight to any of his older acquaintances.
Hands in his pockets and head low, he read the crimson message, anger building within his rigid form. He gritted his teeth, body shaking, and let out a feral growl as he snatched the note away from the board. Shaking with rage, he stared at the note with wide, angry eyes as it lay crumpled within his iron grip. His nails dug into his flesh and drew blood, the red from his tiny wounds mixing with the ink of the notice.
He clearly knew that this person was a threatening figure to both him and his younger brother.
He threw the note onto the floor and stormed out of there, furious. Death burnt within his narrowed lime green eyes. As he rammed through the door, he didn't even turn to see who he roughly hit with his left shoulder.
"Geez," Owen winced as he rubbed his shoulder, his open blue eye locked on the door where the moody man extied. "What's his problem?"
As if he'd forgotten all about the man's assault on him, the redhead smiled and went up to the challenge board and used the tack from the previous message to keep his own from falling.
Hello, there! I'm Owen Voss, and I'm inviting anyone who's willing to meet me at the lake due south of the banshee forest. I believe it's called Heavenpoint Lake. I really look forward to meeting you there!!
With that, he exited with a bounce in his step.

She counded up to the board. She looked at it and took a deep breath. Was she really ready to do this? Taking another deep breath, the short girl reached up for a tack and had to jump a bit to retrieve it. She took a last look at the paper in her hand, taking another breath, she pin the blue post-it note on the board.
Dear...Anyone,
I am new and I wish to learn how to fight. I want a good trainer that will show me no mercy. I look forward to it and I wish that you would meet me in Banshee Forest. I'll be waiting.
Sincerely, Yumi Sennyo

Elric Eron was passing by with his only one friend among all those he knew: Reh Aramil. Reh and Elric were headed for a special section of the woods that give them the perfect place for training. Deep within a small section of woods, Ranger Reh can apply all of his woodsmen training and Elric can use the shadows to make good use of his dark magic powers.
On their way, they make habit of checking the usually empty Challenge Board. Elric made a glance and kept moving, but a hand from his friend held him back. He pointed out the bright blue note pinned to the board.
"Hmm...this girl is looking for a trainer," said the Ranger.
"A trainer?" Elric replied.
After a moment, Reh spoke up, "What about us?"
"What about us?"
"I mean, why don't we train her? She didn't specifiy her battle type. I can train her in melee with my bow and knives and you can train her in magic."
Elric paused, "I guess. We have some down time until the next round of the tournament."
"Besides, the Banshee Forest are close to our training site," said Reh.
The druid shrugged. Reh smiled lightly. He grabbed a note, wrote his message and pinned it below the blue note. They continued onward to their training site.
Dear Yumi,
Elric Eron and myself, Reh Aramil, would be willing to train you during our free periods between tournament matches. Give us a time to meet and we will comply.

No had come to the forest, so Yumi decided to walk back to the board. She took a look at her note and there was another note below it. She read it and smiled. She had managed to get a teacher, actually two, by the looks of the note.
"Awesome!" Yumi pulled out her post-it notes and a pen from her backpack and wrote on it.
Thanks Reh and Elric. I am really glad that you are willing to take some time and teach me to fight. I think anytime would be okay, as long as it after school. Would 12:30 p.m. be okay? I'll be happy to meet you!
Peace, Yumi
Yumi took a tack and replaced her note with her freshly written one.
"There we go." Yumi nodded. She walked away from the board nearly bouncing with excitment. She could feel the adrenaline flowing through out her body already.

Reh had made a solo trip to the training spot today. He gave Elric a nasty arrow wound to the wrist. Normally, Elric could heal injuries like that quickly, but Reh hit a cluster of nerves, severly hampering Elric's magic. He would be fine after a day of rest.
Reh smiled at the response and wrote up a final response. Afterwards, he went to the his spot to prepare.
Elric is resting after an injury. We'll beginning your training tomorrow, 7 o'clock at night. On the back of this note is a map to our personal training spot, just a short hike west of the Banshee Woods. Take this note with you. We don't know what you look like. Use this note as a pass so we know you're not trying to kill us.

Yumi waited about a hour, before she got too impatient, she had a habit for doing that. She walked up to the board. She was glad to see another note there for her. She took the note down and looked at the back of it. It had a nicely drawn map on it.
"Interesting." Yumi pocketed the note and grabbed her bow and set off for the hike.
She made for the Banshee Forest. There, she pulled out the map and followed it to the spot marked as the secret spot. She came around a tree and saw a figure sitting on a log. She smiled and approached the figure.
"Hi! My name is Yumi!" She held out the note for him to see. "You're my trainer, right?"

"Eh?" came the small noise of surprise from a new face as she leaned over and picked up the shopping list. Koyoko's large violet eyes blinked twice in confusion. Blond eyebrows furrowing in concern, she frowned. "Mou... Wazurawashii desu ne...*"
Mikiharu Koyoko (last, first), newest character to Wulfi (or was she?), a sweet girl with short glossy, honey blond hair and round violet eyes. Her attire consisted of a lavender minidress, white lace stockings that reached the middle of her thighs, and purple dress shoes with a floral design on each buckle. Around each wrist was a purple glass bracelet and her nails were painted a sleek silver. She looked to be about 17 or so, and not a very skilled fighter.
Koyoko looked around for any sign of the person who had dropped the list, then sighed and took it to the lost and found.
While exiting, her cell vibrated. She pulled it from her pocket and checked her texts.
Oi, Koyoko-chan! ♥ Have you gotten my strawberries yet? Where are you?! Did you get lost again, should I come get you?! DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE??!?!!?
She sighed again, beginning to tire of these errands. Ever since Owen fell ill, he'd been texting her every five minutes to make sure she knew what she was doing and where she was. Truth be told, she did have a poor sense of direction, and no memory of her life previous to Owen finding her, but she was getting sick of his constant worries. "Owen-kun..."
The girl began to text him back, stating her safety.
(((*"Mou... Wazurawashii desu..." = "MOH... wah-zoo-rah-wah-SHEE dehs neh?" - "C'mon... Isn't this troublesome...")))

Two new notes were on the challenge board, each drastically different from each other, yet they both had the same purpose in mind: to have some sort of battle. One was written in blocky, yet understandable lettering, and the other was written in such excellent hand-writing that it was... actually fairly difficult to read.
Hey, I'm looking for someone to fight, someone GOOD. Give me a challenge, I need to get some practice!
-Daniel
I would appreciate if someone joined me for a spar, I need to make sure my skills are up to par.

Oh God, another stupid rhyme. Trust me, I don't do this all the time-
Is there anywhere in particular you want to meet?
-Amon
Another swordsman, eh? Fine, meet me at the Double King bar. There's an area in the back for people to fight.
-Daniel
Attached to Daniel's note was a map on how to get there.

Attached to Amon's note was not another note, but simple a map (probably because Papillon didn't feel like thinking up another rhyme). On the map, a circle was drawn on a specific location. Right next to it, was the name The Fairy's Meadow.

I hear an old friend of my creator's is back in town. I'm willing to meet with anyone, maybe fight a bit, but I'm not too keen on it.
My name is Neo Kaitai. If you've heard of me, please respond. I haven't fought in a year or so. That may be because I'm not all that pugnacious anymore. If you want to fight, fine, but I'm looking for a friendly match, if anything. I can't guarantee your safety, however.
Please respond.
From the tone of the note, Kaitai had changed greatly from all those years ago. Ever since the war with the Rose Children...
There was no need to go on. All would be revealed at his next match.

More or less below Neo's note on a rough piece of parchment, in a scrawled writing, was a response,
Your name is familiar, though I cannot place any specifics. Regardless, I shall come merely for a fight. I've nothing better to do with my time. Name the place and I shall meet you there.

The young man, now 19 years of age, let his lime-green feline eyes flick over each word of the paper. It was not quite what he was looking for, but he did say he would fight if that is what his responder desired.
His blank face slid into a scowl of mild annoyance. He posted his response on top of the one he'd received himself and exited promptly.
Your name is familiar to me as well. Perhaps our creators are friends...? Well, we can talk more about that when we meet. I'll be waiting at the Bay of Parapuck. Come when you like, but I will not wait more than three days.

Young Stefan was marching around when he came upon this massive board. He browsed and frowned to see there were no open duels. And he didn't have any paper.
Or a pencil...
So, he improvised. He tore a bit of cloth from his pants, pricked a finger on a side of the board, and wrote a sloppy message in blood.
I'm new in town and looking for an ample opponent to test myself! I use melee, so you know.

A lovely girl stumbled by the board, looking concerned. "This note is written in blood... They must really want to fight... ... ...Uh... ... I guess I could..."
The teen took out a clean slip of note paper and a pencil from her pocket, and writing delicately...
While I'm not exactly the strongest, if you'd desire to fight me, I'm completely willing.

When Stefan returned to the board, he was smarter and brought a pencil. He happily replied to the note below his.
Great! Meet me south of town near the hill at dusk.
As he walked away, he realized he didn't sign his name...but she should recognize that it was him. But...it wasn't written in blood either. Still, he marched off to prepare.

A white silk handkerchief is tacked onto the board. It is of the finest fabric and completely without blemish, aside from the following words written on the corner in blue ink.

"Psh. So elegant. Can't stand things like that. Just cause I have muscle doesn't make me any less of a woman..."
In response to this delicate note, Taylor ripped off the cuff of her pant leg, bit her finger, and scrawled in blood,
I hope the Bell Woods is where you'll be cause that's where I'll be.
