How this works, starting today (11/4/07) you can face anyone. Make sure your opponent understands this match is for the tournament. After the match make sure you save the replay so it's recorded who won and who lost. And then post it in this topic. If there are other people on please invite them to observe your match.

The two players can agree on which map to use. If they disagree on which map they want, I will pick a random map.

I was thinking of doing a SC tournament.

I think there's only 5 people here that play, me, SD, Daryl, TOKAM, and DoD.

So we could do something like 1vs1 games that have me, Daryl, TOKAM, and DoD play.

And then it'll be like whoever has the most wins + the runner up to face SD together.

Also does anyone know if there's a spectator mode? Where you can just watch the match instead?

Actually there's a way to do an observer mode. I've been playing around with it but I haven't tested it yet.

I'll need three people to test tomorrow.

No there isn't. The only way possible to do it is to make it into a Use Map Settings map, and set it so you can have a spectator (give them vision of the whole map, don't give them any units/buildings, make it so they don't lose if they don't have buildings).

You could have everyone face each other once, and you get one point for each time you win. Then, the bottom two people are eliminated (in the case of a tie, just have a match between the tied players), and the remaining four make it to the "playoffs", in which the first and fourth place people face and the second and third face. If you want, it could be a best of three or something for these matches. The losers of those matches then face for third place, and then the winners of the two face for first place.

Also, an edit to the tournament- Wins are now worth 2 points, and ties can be counted now for 1 point (You tie if there are no resources left, and neither of you can beat the other).
